  〈Summer Wine〉是（Lee Hazlewood）創作的一首歌曲。Hazlewood最初與 Suzi Jane Hokom合唱，但1967年他與 （Nancy Sinatra）合作的版本更為成功。

  1969年，（Lee Hazlewood）與瑞典歌手 （Siw Malmkvist ）在瑞典電視節目 中演唱了這首歌，該節目也在蒙特勒音樂節《Montreux festival》上播出。

  〈Summer Wine〉的歌詞講述了一個男人遇到一個女人 ，女人注意到他銀色的馬刺，就邀請他一起喝酒。酒醒之後，男人宿醉醒來，發現自己的馬刺和錢都被神祕女人偷走了。他隨後表示，他渴望得到更多她的「美酒」。

這首歌也在1967年4月登上Billboard 雜誌單曲榜第49名。

  1968年初（Summer Wine )收錄於 Nancy Sinatra 與 Lee Hazlewood 的二重唱專輯 《Nancy & Lee 》。這首歌開啟了 Nancy和 Hazlewood 一系列熱門二重唱的先河。

  最初的單曲是單聲道版本，而立體聲LP 版本的人聲僅出現在右聲道。 1986年，Nancy Sinatra 的精選輯《The Hit Years》發行了人聲居中的全新立體聲混音版，此後該版本也出現在其他幾張專輯中。這個版本長度4分14秒。

Billy Preston & Syreeta - With you I'm born again

    今天介紹一首節奏藍調(R&B)歌手,以鍵盤手(keyboardist) 聞名 歌壇的 Billy Preston 與 Syreeta 合唱的情歌 〈With you I'm born again〉。

  Billy Preston 1946年9月2日出生於德州休士頓；在加州洛杉磯長大。 2006年6月6日因腎衰竭去世（享年59歲）。

     Billy Preston 是一位優秀的節奏藍調歌手/詞曲作者/鍵盤手。1956年曾與傳奇福音歌手瑪哈莉亞·傑克森(Mahalia Jackson)合作。 1958年在電影《聖路易藍調》 (St. Louis Blues)中演奏鋼琴。也是六零年代中期一個美國音樂綜藝電視節目《Shindig》的常客。

  他最為人樂道的是與披頭四 (The Beatles )合作錄製了〈Get Back〉和〈Don't Let Me Down〉二首暢銷曲,大家都說他的表現好像成了披頭的第五號團員。

  1971年他參與了孟加拉慈善演唱會(Concert For Bangladesh) 。他也是一位傑出的錄音室樂手，參與了Sly & The Family Stone 合唱團的熱門歌曲錄製。 1975年還伴隨滾石樂團(The Rolling Stones) 進行了美國巡迴演出。

  Billy Preston的冠軍歌曲有：1) Will It Go Round In Circles 2) Nothing From Nothing 3) Outa-Space。〈With you I'm born again〉 1981年曾獲得 Billboard Hot 100單曲榜第 4 名。

Linda Ronstadt & James Ingram -Somewhere Out There

     今天介紹另外一首男女對唱的經典歌曲， Linda Ronstadt 與 James Ingram 合唱的〈Somewhere Out There 〉。這首歌是迪士尼卡通電影「美國鼠譚」( An American Tail)的插曲。

    1986年底推出的這首歌是Grammy獎年度最佳歌曲與最佳電影插曲，在 Billboard Hot 100 單曲榜最高獲得第2名。

    James Ingram 是一位 R&B 抒情歌手、作曲及鋼琴手。他與 Quincy Jones、Patty Austin、Michael McDonald、Kenny Rogers、Kim Carnes 以及 LindaRonstadt 這些名歌星合作的歌曲成績都很不錯。可惜2019年他已因癌症去世(1952-2019)。

Peaches and Herb-Reunited

 

  來自華盛頓特區的節奏藍調二人組 (Peaches And Herb)是60年代一對甜美的靈魂樂二重唱，但真正登上排行榜巔峰的是70年代晚期的作品。

  Herb Feemster高中畢業後，在家鄉華盛頓特區的唱片行工作。1965年1月, Van McCoy走進店裡，是為了他正在合作的女子三人組合 （The Sweet Things）做宣傳 (Van McCoy 以後來的冠軍曲The Hustle成名)。Herb 說服 McCoy 給他一次試音機會，一週後，這位年輕的唱片行員工就和McCoy簽了約。

  在這一年結束之前，Peaches and Herb又推出了三首熱門歌曲：〈Close Your Eyes〉(#8) 、〈For Your Love〉(#20) 及 〈Love Is Strange〉(#11 ) 。

  1967年，Francine 停止了巡演，由另一位 Peaches 成員Marlene Mack接替她的位置。三年後，Herb宣布退出樂壇。
