  The Rolling Stones 這個受藍調影響的搖滾樂團成立於英國倫敦：成員包括：Mick Jagger（主唱；生於1943年 ）、 Keith Richards（主音吉他）、Brian Jones（吉他； 1969年7月13日溺水身亡，年僅27歲）、Bill Wyman（貝斯；）和 Charie Watts （鼓手）。樂團的名字來自 Muddy Waters 的一首歌。他們以「壞男孩」(the bad boys)的形象進行宣傳，與披頭四形成鮮明對比。Mick Taylor 於1969年取代Brian Jones。 Ronnie Wood 則於 1975年取代 Mick Taylor。

The Beatles-You've Got To Hide Your Love Away

  「1965年《Help!》發行的時候，我其實是在呼救，」John Lennon 約翰·藍儂在1980年接受《花花公子》雜誌David Sheff 採訪時說道。「大多數人認為這只是一首快節奏的搖滾歌曲。當時我並沒有意識到這一點；我寫這首歌只是因為受邀為電影創作。但後來，我知道我真的是在呼救，那是我肥胖的時期」。

    澳洲歌手 Samantha Sang 在16歲遇到 Barry Gibb 之前，就已經是一位經驗豐富的歌手了。她八歲時就以 Cheryl Gray 的藝名在電台演唱，也曾與歌喉動人的父母同台演出。Gibb建議她錄製一些他們正在創作的歌曲。Samantha錄製了Gibb的〈Don't Let It Happen Again〉，但反應平平。同年，她在美國發行了一兩首單曲，但此後，直到 〈Emotion〉發行之前，美國樂迷再也沒有聽過她的其他音樂作品。

     Samantha Sang 後來的作品〈You Keep Me Dancing〉（1978年#56）和〈In The Midnight Hour〉（1979年#88）都沒有Barry的參與，Sang之後發行的其他單曲也都沒有。專輯《Emotion》銷量不錯，但Sang此後再也沒有登上排行榜。
