搖擺樂時代著名的the Andrews Sisters女聲三重唱團員Patty Andrews，元月30於加州Northridge故鄉去世（94歲） ，她是the Andrews Sisters最後一位去世的團員，Patty與二位姐姐LaVerne 及Maxine組成的the Andrews Sisters，自1940-1951年一共有53首暢銷曲進排行榜，他們另外還有15首與Bing Crosby合唱的暢銷曲，Patty於1955年還有一首個人的暢銷曲Suddenly There's A
Valley於1955年獲得過地69名。

Andrews Sisters是二十世紀前半最受歡迎的混聲合唱團體，1998年被選入演唱團體名人堂，他們1941年獲得第6名的暢銷曲Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy被認為是節奏與藍調歌曲的一個範例，影歌雙棲的女星Bette Midler 1973年曾重新翻唱此曲，獲得過第8名。
