Blue Moon與「双面嬌娃」

Doo Wop合唱團The Marcels 的主唱與吉它手Cornelius "Nini" Harp 6月5日不幸去世，這個合唱團1959年成立於匹茲堡，當年他們還是五個中學生，因marcel wave髮型正流行，他們就用Marcels當了團名。

1961年他們前往紐約發展，製作人Stu Phillips因並不太看好他們還沒急著簽約，但他們試錄的Blue Moon就因為太好聽而被電台主持人DJ Murray-the-K在電台播出了，Stu只好趕快和他們簽約，Blue Moon三個禮拜就登上了排行榜冠軍，接著的Summertime只得到78名，但另一首很像Blue Moon的Heartaches則得到第7名。

1962年Nini離團而去，直到1970年代中期他才回去和老友們再度錄些音樂，1999年他們應邀參加了美國公共電視的Doo Wop 50特別節目（Doo Wop是一種混聲合唱的節奏與藍調音樂型式，流行於1950至1960年代）， The Marcels亦曾在電影"Twist Around The Clock"中現身演出，2002年The Marcels獲推薦進入演唱團体名人堂。

Blue Moon這首歌於1961年獲得三週排行榜冠軍，也獲推薦進入搖滾樂名人堂。

值得一提的是，1980年代由Bruce Willis與Cibil Shepherd合作演出，很受歡迎的電視影集Moonlighting「双面嬌娃」當中由Cibil Shepherd翻唱此曲，她的版本與Al Jarreau的主題曲Moonlighting（Theme）經常於劇中出現， 相信朋友們印象很深刻吧，Bruce Willis與Cibil Shepherd也因「双面嬌娃」走紅大螢幕。
