Bruce Springsteen-Blinded By The Light

  1977年Manfred Mann’s Earth Band的冠軍曲“Blinded By The Light”是Bruce Springsteen 1973年所寫的歌，但他沒有推出單曲。

  Springsteen清楚地承認這首歌受到Bob Dylan早期曲風的影響很深，“Blinded By The Light”幾乎是對Dylan的一種模仿，他把看似隨機的、不連貫的的想像片段扔出來，以創造更大的整體效果。

  這首歌來自“Mr. Tambourine Man”，是Dylan那個時代最容易理解的歌曲之一"

  Springsteen談到了歌曲中的具体字詞跟他年少時的朋友和地方有關，他也了解如何把這些字詞當作種子，並查閱了押韻辭典來補充歌詞，副歌因包括Springsteen最早提到的改裝汽車和暗夜車手主題而出名，Springsteen這些主題支撐了他大部分的職業生涯。

  但在歌詞結尾因那種一場甚麼都不是的狄倫風格，使他無法使抽象合併成更大的整體意象，他放棄這種方法而用簡潔的措辭以利更接地氣。

  Manfred Mann 出生於南非約翰尼斯堡，於倫敦組pop-rock合唱團，1964年以 Do Wah Diddy Diddy獲得排行榜冠軍成名。

     Bruce Springsteen出生於美國紐澤西州Freehold，1960年代中期在紐澤西地區俱樂部及著名的紐約Green Village俱樂部駐唱而出名，綽號The Boss，是一位獲歷年暢銷歌星排行榜120名的知名歌手。
