Patti LaBelle- Stir It Up

    1984 年電影 Beverly Hills Cop〈比佛利山超級警探〉是一齣令人難忘的喜劇/ 動作片， Eddie Murphy 的演技令人難忘。這部片子的插曲有 Patti LaBelle與Pointer Sisters的歌曲穿插，也替該片增色不少。

    Patti LaBelle 本名Batricia Holt 1944 年5月出生於費城。R&B 歌手。擔任 the Ordettes 合唱團的主唱開始歌唱生涯，後來發展成為 Patti LaBelle & The Blue Belles。1962 年在費城成立的The‘ girl group’ quartet 「女子組合」四重奏樂隊成員包括後來於 1967 年離開並加入 The Supremes 的成員cindy Birdsong。 1971年，集團將其名稱縮寫為LaBelle。

    Bonnie Pointers 是來自加州奧克蘭的R&B 演唱團體，由Ruth 姊妹Anita 與 June 和Bonnie Pointer組成。1976年電影 Car Wash《洗車場》中扮演 Wilson Sisters「威爾森姊妹」。1978 年Bonnie Pointer 開始單飛。樂隊繼續以更現代的風格組成三重唱。

    Patti LaBelle 在電影Beverly Hills Cop有二首插曲，New Attitude（85#17）及 Stir It Up（84#41）。  Bonnie Pointers 則有一首 Neutron Dance（84#6）。
