Nat“King"Cole是一位1950年代第5名，歷年第 45名的影歌雙棲巨星。本名Nathaniel Adams Coles的他，1919年3月17日出生於阿拉巴馬州蒙哥馬利；在芝加哥長大。 1965年2月15日因肺癌去世（享年45歲）。

1943年至1954年間，他共有44首歌曲上榜，其中四首榮登榜首，分別是〈(I Love You) For Sentimental Reasons〉、〈Nature Boy〉、〈Mona Lisa〉和〈Too Young〉。
Nat“King"Cole 的女兒 Natalie Cole 也是一位歌手（於2015年12月31日去世，享年65歲）。
Nat“King"Cole曾獲葛萊美終身成就獎（1990年）。並入選搖滾名人堂（是因對早期搖滾樂有影響因而獲獎）（2000年）。
