Peaches and Herb-Reunited

 

  來自華盛頓特區的節奏藍調二人組 (Peaches And Herb)是60年代一對甜美的靈魂樂二重唱，但真正登上排行榜巔峰的是70年代晚期的作品。

  Herb Feemster高中畢業後，在家鄉華盛頓特區的唱片行工作。1965年1月, Van McCoy走進店裡，是為了他正在合作的女子三人組合 （The Sweet Things）做宣傳 (Van McCoy 以後來的冠軍曲The Hustle成名)。Herb 說服 McCoy 給他一次試音機會，一週後，這位年輕的唱片行員工就和McCoy簽了約。

  McCoy帶著Herb和 (The Sweet Things) 前往紐約錄音，但在錄音期間，他決定利用一些額外的錄音時間錄製一首Herb 和（The Sweet Things）主唱 Francine Barker 合作的二重唱。

  （We're in This Thing Together）推出成績並不理想，聖路易KATZ電台一位 DJ 發現了這首歌，但是他更喜歡小唱片 B 面的歌 〈Let's Fall in Love〉，很快地此曲在Billboard Hot 100 榜上攀升，並在1967年3月達到最高排名第21名。

  在這一年結束之前，Peaches and Herb又推出了三首熱門歌曲：〈Close Your Eyes〉(#8) 、〈For Your Love〉(#20) 及 〈Love Is Strange〉(#11 ) 。

  1967年，Francine 停止了巡演，由另一位 Peaches 成員Marlene Mack接替她的位置。三年後，Herb宣布退出樂壇。

Linda Ronstadt & Aaron Neville-Don't Know Much

     Linda Ronstadt 1946年7月15日出生於亞利桑那州Tucson市，是墨西哥與德國混血。高中時期，她與妹妹和弟弟組成了民謠三重唱組合 （The Three Ronstadts），並於1964年移居洛杉磯。

    Linda Ronstadt 與吉他手Boboy Kinmel 和鍵琴手 Ken Edwards，1971年10月組成了「石馬樂隊」（The Stone Poneys）；1966年，樂隊為Sidewalk唱片公司錄製唱片，1968年開始單飛。 1971年，她與（Glenn Frey）、（Don Henley）、（Randy Meisner）和（Bernie Leadon）組成了伴奏樂隊。他們即是後來的「老鷹合唱團」（The Eagles）。她也演出了1978年的電影《FM》。 2013年8月，她透露自己被診斷出患有帕金森氏症。

    Ozzy Osbourne 本名John Micheel Osboume,出生於英國伯明翰, 是 Heavy-metal rock 「重金屬搖滾樂團」 《黑色安息日》(Black Sabbath )合唱團的主唱,但 1978 年被開除而離開而另組自己的合唱團, 主要由於他的演唱會行為舉止頗具爭議 。1982年7月4日他與他的經紀人 Sharon Arden結婚。曾經推出一部以他們家庭生活為主題的真人實境秀《奧斯本一家》(The Osboumes)。

    〈Close My Eyes Forever〉由 Lita Ford 推出在Billboard Hot 100 曾獲得第8名(1989年)。

Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton -Islands in the Stream
