 本週介紹的 One Hit Wonder 是1977年一部電影 You Light up my  life《你照亮我的生命》的主題歌曲。

  少女「羅莉」從小跟著父親在加州地區表演脫口秀，長大之後，「羅莉」參加廣告對白配音、演唱的表演工作，收入雖然微薄，「羅莉」卻樂觀進取， 「羅莉」在歌唱方面頗有造詣，終於得到一個機會，去一間電視台錄音室去試唱，沒想到與曾有一夜情的電視節目製作人重逢，他表示很欣賞「羅莉」的歌唱才藝並有意邀請「羅莉」擔任一齣電視劇的女主角。在「克里斯」的呵護下讓「羅莉」以為遇到真命天子，結婚前夕，「羅莉」告知未婚夫無法繼續相處，兩人解除婚約......。

   電視劇在開拍之前，「羅莉」被告知原定角色被一位金髮演員取代，「羅莉」大夢初醒，覺得「克里斯」只是逢場作戲，不是真情，而且演藝圈充滿了弱肉強食的現實。

   「羅莉」事業受到挫折，又失去婚姻伴侶，兩頭落空，遂鼓起勇氣向父親「席」表明自己熱愛唱歌的志向，並想到紐約去發展，「席」聽了之後，恍然大悟，感嘆女兒已經長大，有自己的想法。「席」不但未加阻止，反而給予「羅莉」祝福..「羅莉」最後以You Light up my  life  獲得排行榜冠軍.。

  這部電影的女主角是 Didi Conn 。他在片中演唱的You Light up my  life 原唱是 Cisyk Kasey 單曲推出後只獲得第80名。而不幸的是1998年Cisyk Kasey因癌症去世 (44歲)  。

   You Light up my  life 稍早也由 Debby Boone 錄製推出 ，在當年的排行榜獲得連續10周冠軍創下紀錄。

   本週介紹的 One Hit Wonder是 Marrilee Rush於1968年獲得 Billboard 單曲排行第7名，並獲選 BMI全美最常播出百名歌曲排行榜第 21名的 Angel of the Morning 。

   Marrilee Rush本名 Marrilee Gunst ，1944 出生於 美國 Washington 州西雅圖。她在排行榜上只有這一首 Top 10 的歌，這一首動聽的歌翻唱者很多，名次甚至比原唱的更好。例如1981年鄉村歌曲協會最佳新人獎得主Juice Newton 的翻唱版跨界於 Billboard 單曲排行就獲得第4名。

   Juice Newton 本名 Judith Kay Cohen ，1952 年 2 月 18 日出生於新澤西州 Lakehurst，在 Virginia 州弗吉尼亞海灘長大。是一位鄉村流行歌手/吉他手。 15 歲開始表演民歌，1974 年與自己的 Silver Spur 樂團一起搬到洛杉磯， 1975年與 RCA唱片公司簽約。樂團於 1978 年解散。1976-89年她 有26首歌進入鄉村歌曲排行榜 。

  Baltimora本名 Jimmy McShane ，1957年出生於北愛爾蘭 Londerry，1995年 因AIDS去世，得年37歲。

  本周 One Hit Wonders 介紹一首古典新奏的冠軍曲 Rock Me Amadeus 。

   此曲的主唱 Falco 本名 Johann Holzel ，1957 年 2 月 19 日出生於奧地利維也納。 1998年2月6日死於車禍（40歲）。他是一位男性舞蹈歌手/詞曲作者。他的名字取自東德優秀的滑雪運動員 Falco Weisspflog。

   Rock Me Amadeus 這首歌於1986年在Billboard Hot 100排行榜獲得連續3周冠軍，在錢櫃雜誌也獲得2周冠軍，是一首向古典作曲家莫札特 Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) 致敬的歌。
