  Will To Power 是來自佛羅裡達州的流行舞蹈三重唱 Pop-dance trio ：由 Bob Rosenberg 、Dr. J 和 Maria Mendez組成。Bob Rosenberg是歌手Gloria Mann的兒子。到 1990 年，只剩下Bob Rosenberg 和Elin Michaels。團名取自19世紀德國哲學家弗里德里希·尼采 Friedrich Nietzsche 的作品。

Johnny Lee-Looking For Love

    本周介紹一首Johnny Lee 演唱的電影《都市牛郎》（Urban Cowboy）的電影插曲（Looking For Love）°

  本名Johnny Lee Ham 的 Johnny Lee，1946 年 7 月 3 日出生於德州，在德州東部 Alta Loma 的一個奶牛牧場場長大。擠牛奶的時候，Johnny Lee 會聽搖滾樂，他認為當時鄉村音樂的鼻音太重了。1960 年代初，他和一些聖菲高中的同學組了 Johnny Lee & The Road Runners 樂團。

  畢業後日子結束後，Lee 成為一艘訪問越南的海軍巡洋艦水手長，四年

後來他平安回到家，開始在加州閒逛，他對自己的生活猶豫不決，後來決定加入音樂領域。

Miguel Rios -A SONG OF JOY

   One Hit Wonder 今天介紹貝多芬第九交響樂最後樂章的偉大作品 Miguel Rios 的 A SONG OF JOY (HIMNO A LA ALEGRIA)

  Miguel Rios（1944 年出生於西班牙格拉納達）從六歲起就開始唱歌。兩年後，他成為學校合唱團的成員。畢業後，他組了一個搖滾樂隊，在當地的酒吧演出。 Hispavox 唱片公司的一位製作人讓這位年輕人與作曲家兼指揮家 Waldo De Los Rios 的管弦樂團合作錄製了一首紀念歌，以紀念貝多芬誕辰 200 週年。De Los Rios 和一個名叫奧爾貝Orbe 的人精心製作了貝多芬第九交響曲最後樂章的偉大作品，其中包括大型的合唱團和大量的樂器。

 

  當貝多芬的不朽旋律席捲世界流行音樂排行榜後，Miguel 的知名度主要局限於他的祖國。但第二年，Waldo 則帶著他自己的流行作品《莫札特的 G 小調第 40 交響曲 K 550，第一樂章》重返 Billboard排行榜（#67/1971） 。他的專輯《Sin-fonias》（1971）也賣得很好。

Dennis De Young-Desert Moon

One Hit Wonder 今天介紹 1984年Dennis De Young獲得過第10名的“Desert Moon”。

  故事始於 1963 年伊利諾伊州 Roseland 市，那是一個青少年時期難以實現的夢想 。主唱鍵琴手 Dennis De Young 說: 鼓手 John Panozzo 和他的兄弟貝斯手 Chuck 住在我家對面。我們總是一起玩，當我們碰到大學舞會時，會盡可能地參加演出，這是一件大事。

  1968 年它們取名為 The Trade Winds ，三人就讀芝加哥州立大學時，又加入了同學主奏吉他手 Johnny "J. C." Curulewski ，他們簡稱 TW4。

  1970 年，他們加入 Wooden Nickel 唱片公司，他們首先想把團名改得更時髦一些，他們根據希臘神話，取名〈冥河〉 Styx，意思是想像冥河一樣渡過死者靈魂到達冥界的河流。

Mouth & Macneal -How Do You Do

  Mouth & Macneal 是一個來自荷蘭的流行音樂二重唱：Willem “Mouth” Duyn 和 Maggie MacNeal（出生名為 Sjoukje Van't Spijker）。Duyn 已經於 2004 年 12 月 3 日因心臟病去世（享年 67 歲）。

  The Mouth (Willem Duyn)總是和 Maggie MacNeal (Sjoukje Van't Spijker)1971年在兩位藝人的個人發行失敗後組成此二人組。Willem“Mouth”偶然在阿姆斯特丹的錄音室聽到了Maggie的錄音帶。他與製片人 Hans van Hermert聯繫，安排與 MacNeal 的會面。由於對單曲失敗感到沮喪，MacNeal 同意與嗓音沙啞的Duyn結合。他們的第一張專輯〈Hey Love You〉在地區範圍內取得了良好的成績。他們的第二首單曲“How Do You Do”在國際上銷售極佳。光是在美國，銷量就超過了 100 萬張，

    本週介紹的 One Hit Wonder是 Lipps Inc.於1980年獲得 Billboard 單曲排行榜連續四周冠軍的 "Funky Town"。

     Lipps Inc.成軍於明黎蘇達州明黎阿波利斯。製作人、多種樂器手及作曲 Steven Greenberg 是白人 ，主唱 Cyncia Johnson 是黑人女歌手，所以是一個 Funk-Dance 放克舞團。

  來自英國的舞蹈樂團 Jive Bunny and The Mastermixers 成員包括 DJ Les Hemstock 、混音師 John Pickles、他的兒子 Andy Pickles 和 lan Morgan。

  “Swing the Mood”在英國獲得第5名。
