Mike Nesmith 視力OK

前Monkees合唱團的團員Mike Nesmith 2月16日在臉書上承認他元月底眼睛因白內障開刀，並且用Johnny Nash的名曲I can see clearly now形容現在視力好得很，澄清他眼睛快瞎了的傳言。


Mike Nesmith 1942年出生於德州休士頓，在加入Monkees合唱團之前就已經是一位職業樂手，曾經幫Linda Ronstdat寫了1967年的成名曲Different Drum，他個人有一首Top 40的很好聽的抒情歌曲即1970年獲得過第21名的Joanne。

1966-1968年的The Monkees TV Show電視節目共播出58集，是那一世代年輕朋友們共同的美好回憶， The Monkees的暢銷曲不少，包括Last Train To Clarksville、I’m A Believer、Daydream Believerer三首冠軍曲，他們在歷年暢銷歌星與合唱團排行榜獲得第170名。
