女歌星Linda Ronstadt八月23日宣佈她患了巴金森氏病，該病導致她沒法唱歌，她已經進醫院治療了八個多月，今年已經67歲的Linda Ronstadt開始坐輪椅旅行，而且用拐杖幫助她走動。

1946年出生於美國亞利桑那州的Tuson，中學時就與兄妹組過The Three Ronstadts民歌三重唱，後來組的The Stone Poneys，曾是Eagles 的背景和聲合唱團。

1967年以第13名的Different Drum成名，名次最好的歌是1974年的冠軍曲You’re No Good，1986年的卡通電影「美國鼠譚」插曲與James Ingram合唱的Somewhere Out There更為小朋友與歌迷們所喜愛，也獲得當年Grammy年度歌曲獎。
Linda Ronstadt是1970年代很紅的女歌星，作品極多，在歷年暢銷歌星排行榜獲得第65名的佳績。
