Annie Lennox 開始拍賣Sting , Taylor Swift等大牌歌星的捐贈品
Annie Lennox , Emeli Sande與Sting這些藝人個別站出來辦拍賣會為The Circle 全球新冠肺炎緊急資金籌款。
The Circle的創辦人、 歌手、作曲人與熱心社會活動的Annie Lennox已經邀請流行音樂界夥伴貢獻一己之力集資幫助跨越全球遭新冠肺炎影響的婦女。
除了個人獨家演出之外 , 拍賣會也由義大利時裝設計師 Alberta Ferreti 提供絲質禮服給 Lennox , Taylor Swif提供簽名吉他 , Madison Beer提供在 video "Good in Goodbye" 穿過的簽名服 , 還有和英國新人獎得主 Celeste喝下午茶 , 聽二首歌的獎。
Lennox說 : " 千萬婦女生活貧困問題很嚴重 , 很多人沒有收入 , 遭受暴力侵擾 , 無處可逃"。
她很高興音樂圈很多人加入她的社會活動 , 給她協助。
Annie Lennox 1954年出生於蘇格蘭 , 曾是 the Tourists合唱團團員 , 後來擔任 Eurythmics合唱團主唱 , 2002年獲得Billboard世紀成就獎。
Eurythmics合唱團的成名曲是1983年獲得冠軍的Sweet Dreams(Are Made of This)。
