James Taylor-Moon River

     2021 年GRAMMY 獎一共有83個獎項，其中有一個Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album「最佳傳統流行歌曲專輯獎」是由James Taylor的AMERICAN STANDARD獲獎。這個獎規定專輯裡最少要有51%以上的傳統流行老歌新唱。

  AMERICAN STANDARD這張專輯於去年2020/2/28推出，今年2021/3/14獲得Grammy獎，James Taylor上一張專輯是2015年6月推出的Before This World，那張專輯是Taylor 在Billboard 200 專輯排行榜第一張獲得冠軍的唱片，當2015年7月4日專輯獲得冠軍時，距離1970年3月14日他首度以Sweet Baby James專輯進入排行榜就已經超過45年了(其中有他的成名曲Fire and Rain)。

  AMERICAN STANDARD有14首歌，大部分是二十世紀早期美國的流行音樂作品，如Walter Donaldson 與George A. Whiting的"My Blue Heaven"是齊格飛歌舞團1927年的名曲，Jerome Kern與 Oscar Hammerstein II 的"Ol' Man River"是1927年歌舞劇Show Boat插曲，"The Surrey with the Fringe on Top"是1943 年Richard Rodgers與Oscar Hammerstein II 為歌舞 Oklahoma! 所寫的插曲。而1961年Henry Mancini 與 Johnny Mercer的作品"Moon River"在專輯中已經算是很新的歌了。

  James Taylor 1948年出生於美國麻塞諸塞州波士頓，1967年加入The Flying Machine合唱團，1968年他與朋友曾去英國發展，他的父親擔任過北卡羅萊那州一所醫學院的校長。他的妹妹Kate，弟弟Alex與Livingston也唱歌出唱片，前妻Carly Simon (1972-83) 更是與他齊名的流行歌壇紅歌星。

"Moon River"是1961年電影Breakfast at Tiffany「第凡內早餐」的插曲，獲得奧斯卡最佳電影歌曲獎、Grammy最佳年度唱片與歌曲獎。Henry Mancini and His Orchestra的"Moon River"1961年曾經獲得Billboard Hot 100排行榜第11名。

Linda Ronstadt-You're No Good

  63屆Grammy獎頒獎典禮好比是一個女歌星之夜。

  Beyoncé 打破女歌星贏得Grammy獎的紀錄，超越Allison Krauss。Taylor Swift是第四位藝人及第一位女歌星三度獲得年度專輯獎。 

  H.E.R以"I Can't Breathe"獲得年度歌曲獎，Billie Eilish的"Everything I Wanted"獲得年度唱片獎，Megan Thee Stallion是第一位女性饒舌歌手獲得本世紀最佳新人獎。

   Jhené Aiko 主持會前頒獎典禮，大部分主要歌星參加。

  Trevor Noah主持現場轉播，Taylor Swift、 Bad Bunny、Black Pumas、Cardi B、Megan Thee Stallion、Harry Styles 等藝人和團體在節目中演出。

  本屆Grammy獎有一個「最佳音樂電影獎」Best Music Film，提名的有Beastie Boys、Beyoncé、Freestyle Love Supreme、Linda Ronstadt及ZZ Top這些藝人的影片。得獎的是Linda Ronstadt的Linda Ronstadt : The Sound of My Voice。

  Linda Ronstadt 1946年七月出生於美國亞利桑那州Tucson，1968年她曾經找Glenn Frey、Don Henley、Rendy Mesiner及及Bernie Leadon等人組一個她的伴唱樂隊The Stone Poneys，他們就是後來成名的The Eagles合唱團。

 Linda Ronstadt暢銷曲很多，在歷年暢銷歌星排行榜獲得第70名，她也在FM等電影中演出，2013年8月Linda不幸確診得到帕金森氏病而退出歌壇，這部Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of My Voice音樂電影等於是她的回憶錄，獲獎是實至名歸。

  Linda Ronstadt在排行榜上名次最好的歌是1974年的冠軍曲 You're No Good。

Siouxsie and Banshees-Kiss Them for Me

  英、美二地龐克開始時的景象完全多樣化，描寫男性、女性、跨性別者、同性戀…。

  很多樂團有女團員，也有全女子樂團，很清楚的，女性出現於龐克的現象並非開明或仁慈的結果，女性已經進入次文化，她們幫忙建構龐克，她們付出的比龐克給的還多。在龐克圈內的女人可以表達她們個人的獨立性及發出怨氣，龐克給她們力量團結一致。

  龐克帶來女子樂團的出現，在英國的有Siouxsie and Banshees「蘇西與女妖」樂團、X Ray Spex「X光機」樂團、the Slits「裂縫」樂團及the Raincoats「雨衣」樂團，同時在美國的女子樂團也是龐克發展中的主力。龐克缺乏技術專家，很多未經訓練的女樂手、作曲人、設計者，以前都被拒在門外。舊金山龐克樂團the Nuns「修女」的Jennifer Miro珍妮佛米洛說，剛開始有些女性團員，後來都變成男的、反女性的，女孩子都不去聽龐克音樂了，因為怕出事。這種現象不只在美西，連紐約和華盛頓都有影響。

  1980年代有很多女龐克樂團走紅，他們是Bratmobil「小鬼石油」、Bikini Kill「比基尼弄死」、Calamity Jane「災難珍妮」、Heavens to Betsy「以貝琪之名」、Huggy Bear「可愛熊」、Tribe8「8族」、Cunts with Attitude「妓女心態」及Team Dresch「傑氏隊」，雖然她們大多在太平洋西北岸活動，但和Riot Grrrl「騷亂女子」樂團一樣，女龐克並無地域之限。

  前面提到的這些龐克團體絕大多數在排行榜上都沒有出現，這是龐克發展中的自然現象，唯一例外的是Siouxsie and Banshees這個樂評人定位為前衛龐克、後龐克的樂團，他們在Billboard Hot 100排行榜有一首1991年獲得第23名的歌Kiss Them For Me，此曲也獲得另類搖滾排行榜第5名，收錄在他們1991年的專輯Superstition當中。

  Siouxsie and Banshees的主唱是Siouxsie Sioux(Susan Ballion) 她與貝斯手Steve Severin (Steven Bailey) 1976年於倫敦組成該團，第一張專輯The Scream〈吶喊〉於1978年在第一首單曲“Hong Kong Garden”「香港花園」一夜成名後推出，但是上述早期的龐克專輯和單曲在美國都沒有發行。

   Siouxsie and Banshees是想認識龐克音樂的歌迷們不可錯過的樂團。

Sex Pistols-Anarchy In The UK

    早期在倫敦和紐約的龐克樂團音樂是多樣化的，當時是沒有龐克單曲的，現在也一樣沒有。如the Evens「倚文斯」、Dott「多特」或the God Damn Doo Wop Band「該死的嘟瓦普樂隊」都不脗合主流唱片公司對龐克音樂的界定，因為這種定義毫無意義。

  龐克是一種社會實踐活動，早期的the Sex Pistols「性手槍」，Damned「詛咒」，Slits「裂縫」，Clash「衝突」，X Ray Spex 「X光機」或Raincoats 「雨衣」那些樂團 ，他們倦於主流文化強迫接受的音樂、藝術、文化、時尚而決定搞自己的音樂，他們有喜歡龐克的記者和作者採訪報導，有電影公司拍他們的電影，他們設計自己的服裝…，那是一種對現狀的排斥，一種自我創新的風氣。   

  龐克雜誌Razorcake「刮鬍刀凝膠」的創刊人及編輯Todd Taylor塔德泰勒認為 : DIY punk「自己創作的龐克」是一種道德的投入，因為他的反主流唱片公司立場，認為那是個人在獲利極大化之前要考量的誠信，因為一個藝人如果為短期獲利做出承諾，從普世價值來看他將一文不值，這是DIY punk 的核心價值。

  龐克不是一種小眾音樂類型，也不是一種特殊的時尚髮型，是一種對DIY punk 的承諾，以之自我強化。

  傳奇龐克搖滾樂團Sex Pistols組成於倫敦，主唱Johnny”Roten”Lydon於1978年一月Sex Pistols解散後組成Public Image Ltd。1979年2月2日貝斯手Sid Vicious 因服藥過量猝死，時年21歲，當時他因四個月前刺殺女友Nancy Spungen案假釋在外。Sex Pistols的吉他手Steve Jones後來加入Chequered Past。Sex Pistols團員於1996年復合。

      The Sex Pistols沒有發行過單曲，他們的" Anarchy in the UK"「英國的無政府主義」這首歌在滾石雜誌500大歌曲榜獲得第56名，是龐克搖滾的經典之作。

      " Anarchy in the UK"歌詞講到的Anarchy無政府主義、anti-Christ反基督、IRA愛爾蘭共和軍…就是1970年代龐克自英倫發展出來時候的社會背景。
