Gary Numan -Cars

    在歷年最受歡迎的100首汽車歌曲〈The 100 Greatest Car Songs of All Time〉中有一首Synth-techno-rock電音搖滾歌手Gary Numan所唱的" cars "排名第15。

       這首歌是他1980年個人推出的第一張專輯《The Pleasure Principle》當中的歌，在Billboard Hot 100排行榜曾獲得第9名，在英國則獲得冠軍。

       Gary Numan 1948年出生於倫敦，他有飛行員執照，1981年時曾想環繞世界飛行，在開了一系列比預期時間早的告別演唱會後，1982年他如願達成願望，

    Gary Numan還因間諜和走私罪在印度被捕。

        Gary Numan 也是Tubway Army的主唱，在Tubway Army發行第一張單曲That’s Too Bad時，Gary Numan 當時名叫Valerian，在Post-Punk & New Wave〈後龐克與新浪潮〉的音樂領域，Gary Numan有很重要的地位。

         歌迷們對Gary Numan評價很高，認為" cars "這首歌與它的音樂影帶Music Video是史上最棒的，說它是一首來自過去的未來歌曲。
