  Loretta Lynn與Garth Brooks 2010年10月12日於GRAMMY講所舉辦的Salute to Country Music Honoring Loretta Lynn「向鄉村音樂之星Loretta Lynn致敬」活動時曾同台演出。Loretta Lynn與Garth Brooks有20多年的交情，他曾於2003年Loretta獲得甘迺迪中心頒獎時協助過她。Garth Brooks的爆紅是1990年代使鄉村歌曲復活的關鍵人物。他的Lost In You 曾跨界於流星歌曲排行榜獲得第5名。Garth Brooks懷念Loretta Lynn 他愛Loretta Lynn相信她也愛他。

  Loretta Lynn於1932年4月14日出生於美國肯塔基州Butcher Holler，1960-2000年有78首鄉村歌曲排行榜暢銷曲，其中有16首冠軍曲。她的親人有很多人也唱鄉村歌曲，其中最有名的是Crystal Gayle，她的Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue(#2/77)是一首懷念的抒情歌曲。1980年的金像獎電影Coal Miner's Daughter「礦工的女兒」就是根據Loretta Lynn的自傳拍攝的。西西·史派克與湯米·李·瓊斯的演出令人印象深刻。飾演Loretta Lynn的Sissy Spacek因此片獲得最佳女主角金像獎。電影中受歡迎的插曲Don't Come Home With A Drinkin’是Loretta Lynn 1966年的冠軍曲。
