Spiders From Mars 》專輯的那段日子，Ian Hunter曾擔任David Bowie的助理及編曲。這張專輯中著名的單曲" Space Oddity "在英國獲得排行榜冠軍，1973年在美國則獲得第15名。
Mott
The Hoople在Billboard Hot 100 排行榜上名次最好的歌是獲得第37名的" All The Young Dudes"，此曲在滾石雜誌RS500獲得256名，是這個Hard Rock band「硬式搖滾樂團」的代表作，David Bowie所唱的版本沒有發行單曲，但也甚獲歌迷們喜愛。
