The Moody Blues-Isn't Life Strange

    The Moody Blues的《Days Of Future Passed》是他們的第二張專輯，在Billboard專輯排行榜得到5週第3名，其中的" Nights in White Satin"在Billboard Hot 100單曲排行榜上獲得第2名(錢櫃雜誌排行榜冠軍)，他們1972年在美國發行的第7張專輯《Seventh Sojourn》則在Billboard專輯排行榜得到連續5週冠軍。

  《Seventh Sojourn》有二首暢銷曲 "Isn't Life Strange" (#13 UK, #29 US) 及"I'm Just a Singer (In a Rock and Roll Band)" (#36 UK, #12 US).都是主唱貝斯手John Lodge所寫的，在1990年紀錄片〈The Moody Blues〉中John Lodge描述"I'm Just a Singer (In a Rock and Roll Band)"就是給歌迷們的一個回應。

       這二首暢銷曲在排行榜上成績並不好，主要是同年推出的1968年舊作" Nights in White Satin"鋒頭蓋過他們，成了The Moody Blues的招牌歌曲。不過"Isn't Life Strange"倒是一首不錯的歌。

     有樂評人將The Moody Blues定位為Art-rock band「藝術搖滾樂團」，不論成績好壞，這二首歌是值得回味的、
