Jeff Beck&The Honey Drippers

  吉他大師Jeff Beck元月10日(2023)去世，享年78歲

  曾經是The Yardbirds團員的Jeff Beck，後來組成 the Jeff Beck Group，他是搖滾樂界最有影響力的搖滾吉他手之一。

  他的死訊經由家人證實:「我們非常悲痛地分享這一新聞，Jeff因突然感染細菌性腦膜炎安詳的去世」。

  這位英籍搖滾樂手於1965年於The Yardbirds合唱團時，帶給歌迷強力及敢於創新的吉他型態。

  當年他經錄音室樂隊同伴Jimmy Page介紹加入The Yardbirds，取代離團而去的Eric Clapton，他在該團待了20個月，主要在忙1966 推出的專輯《 Roger the Engineer》，這張專輯是他們在英國發行的唯一專輯，在美國則改名《Over Under Sideways Down》，是第三張專輯。

  在被The Yardbirds開除之後，Beck錄了很多個人的單曲，包括:"Love is Blue" and "Hi Ho Silver Lining"製作人是 Mickie Most And His Playboys 的Mickie Most。

  他組了自己的樂團 the Jeff Beck Group，主唱Rod Stewart，貝斯手Ronnie Wood，鼓手Nicky Hopkins，他們錄過二張專輯1968年的《 Truth 》與1969年的《Beck-Ola》。

  他贏得六座Grammy獎，進入Rock and Roll Hall of Fame「搖滾樂名人堂」二次。

  Jeff Beck加入過的The Yardbirds (1965- 1966) 是一個傳奇搖滾樂團，成名曲是1965年推出的英國冠軍曲" For Your Love "(Eric Clapton時期)，而Jeff Beck與Jimmy Page及Robert Plant所組的All Star Band-The Honey Drippers翻唱的老歌"Sea of Love" (#3/1984)令歌迷們難忘。
