 為什麼 George Martin 在錄製‘ Let It Be’ 之後Abbey Road之前退出the Beatles ？

    喬治·馬丁從未加入 the Beatles 合唱團，他確實對他們在錄製《 the White Album》 期間的行為感到有些厭煩 。John Lennon 告訴 George Martin，他們不希望在專輯中聽製作人說三道四，可是後來錄好的 Let It Be 卻非常成功。他們的想法是編寫、排練和表演一張現場專輯，並拍攝排練和表演，因此不需要配合製作人通常習慣做法——the Beatles 團員覺得他們可以自己搞定。

  正如我們所知，他們並沒有那樣工作。 George Martin 只參加了一些排練和屋頂音樂會。

  ‘Get Back’錄音於1969年月結束，幾周后Paul McCartney 打電話給 George Martin，說他們想錄製一張“好”的專輯 ， George 同意了，說如果他們願意自己製作（包括約翰）也可以。最後 Beatles 和 George都同意了，他們一起製作了一張高品質的專輯 《Abbey Road》。

  Beatles 的專輯《Abbey Road》於1969年底推出，獲得Billboard 專輯排行榜連續11周冠軍，是滾石雜誌 RS500 統計第14名的經典之作，其中的單曲 Come Together /Something 在小唱片正反面一起推出，一同獲得排行榜冠軍。
