  本周 One Hit Wonder 介紹一首Jive Bunny and The Mastermixers 1986年獲得過Billboard單曲排行榜第11名的 “Swing the Mood”。

  來自英國的舞蹈樂團 Jive Bunny and The Mastermixers 成員包括 DJ Les Hemstock 、混音師 John Pickles、他的兒子 Andy Pickles 和 lan Morgan。

  “Swing the Mood”在英國獲得第5名。 

  “Swing the Mood”主要由 Chubby Checker的Let's“ Twist Again”， Glenn Miller 的“ In The Mood”，Bill Haley 的 “Rock Around The Clock” 、“ Rock-A-Beatin' Boogie”，Little Richard 的“Tutti-Frutti”，Everly Brothers的“Wake Up Little Susie” ，Eddie Cochran的“C'mon Everybody”及貓王 Elvis Presley的 “Hound Dog”、“All Shook Up”、“Jailhouse Roc” ，Bill Haley 的“Shake, Rattle And Roll ”以及 Danny & The Juniors的“At The Hop”等歌曲片段剪接而成的。其中貓王的歌則是由 Pete Willcox 模仿演唱。

  這些歌都是早期搖滾樂的名曲，1980年代中期能再度以新的節奏重出江湖，很快就擠進排行榜前10名 ，受到老歌迷的熱烈歡迎。

Los Lobos -La Bamba

 本周 One Hit Wonders 介紹一首 Los Lobos 的冠軍曲“La Bamba”。

  Los Lobos 是一個來自洛杉磯的西班牙裔美國搖滾樂團：（主唱）David Hildago、（吉他手）Cesar Rosas、（薩克斯風手）Steve Berlin、（貝斯手）Conrad Lozano 和（鼓手）Louie Peres。

  “La Bamba”這首歌摘自 Lou Diamond Phillip主演的電影《LaBamba》。1987 年上映的這部電影《La Bamba》是根據 Ritchie Valens 的故事改編的。

  Ritchie Valens 是一位拉丁搖滾歌手/詞曲作者/吉他手。 1941年5月 13 日生於加州 Pacoima，1959 年 2 月 3 日他與搖滾樂傳奇歌手 Buddy Holly 和 Big Bopper 因飛機失事喪生（17 歲）。Valens 版本的墨西哥民謠“La Bamba”是他的暢銷曲“Donna”的 B 面。就在開始走紅之時，這位當年17歲小孩和 Buddy Holly 和 Big Bopper 一起在飛機失事中喪生。就在這次致命的巡迴演出之前，他買了一棟房子給母親。

  2001 年Ritchie Valens獲選入搖滾樂名人堂。

  “La Bamba” 這一首墨西哥民歌，也被稱為“La Bomba”。翻唱過“La Bamba”的人很多，最出名的是1958年由 Ritchie Valens 演唱的版本(#22/1959)。Los Lobos 的“La Bamba”則於1987年推出，曾經在 Billboard Hot 100 單曲排行榜獲得連續三周冠軍，‚在英國也獲得二周冠軍。

  Ritchie Valens的版本在《滾石》雜誌評選的史上最偉大的 500 首歌曲RS500 中排名第 354名，並且是榜上唯一一首不是用英語創作或演唱的歌曲。 

  許多藝人翻唱過“La Bamba”，其中成績最好的是 Los Lobos 樂團，他們 1987 年電影《La Bamba》的同名插曲，在多個排行榜上名列第一。

Toni Basil -Mickey

  本週介紹的 One Hit Wonder是 Toni Basil 於1982年獲得 Billboard 單曲排行冠軍的 "Mickey " 

    Toni Basil  1943年9月22日出生於賓州費城，原名為 Antonia Basilotta 是一位編舞/女演員/ 影片導演，曾於電影Easy Rider《逍遙騎士》演出。

    "Mickey " 啦啦隊表演 1981 年由洛杉磯 Dorsey High School 啦啦隊提供。

    Toni Basil 的 "Mickey'" 翻唱自 1979 年英國合唱團 Racey 的 "Kitty" 。這段精彩的 MV 是由 Toni Basil 親自編排的，‚因為這是她的主要職業。但當"Mickey" 讓她在全世界一夜成名時，她已經出道超過 15 年了。隨後又發行了後續專輯和單曲，但沒有一首能與這首朗朗上口的 80 年代流行歌曲相提並論。

Keith Carradine - I'm Easy

     One Hit Wonder 今天介紹 Keith Carradine 1976年獲得過奧斯卡最佳歌曲獎的“ I'm Easy” 。

  Keith Carradine 1949 年 8 月 8 日出生於加州 San Mateo。主演過多部電影，包括 Pretty Baby《漂亮寶貝》、Nashville,《納許維爾》、 The Long Riders《長征騎士》等。他是演員John Caradine約翰卡拉定的兒子， David Carradine大衛卡拉定的同父異母兄弟。這個演員世家的父親、兄弟

、女兒都是影視演員。David Carradine 於1972年電視影集〈功夫〉演出木訥寡言卻武功極好的武僧甘貴祥後因而聲名大噪。
