吾愛吾師

教師節又到了，讀高中的時候有一位英文老師姓林，名字已經想不起來了，但是還記得老師英文名字是Paul，因為同學們愛開玩笑背後叫他林「砲」（對不起！林老師），所以印象特別深刻，林老師當時很年輕，好像出社會沒多久，雖然教我們也沒多久，可是幾十年來我一直忘不了這位老師，因為他用當年流行的西洋歌曲電影主題曲的歌詞舉例，讓我學課文裡in return這句片語一點就通。
那首歌是1967年的電影To Sir ，With Love「吾愛吾師」當中的插曲，是黑人影帝薛尼鮑迪所主演的校園電影，倫敦東區的一所中學裡，頑皮的中學生一直找新來的老師麻煩，但在愛心和耐心的感召下，劇情有完美的結局，The Mindbenders與Lulu在片中都演唱了插曲，但Lulu所唱的主題曲To Sir With Love，是1967年連續五週排行榜冠軍曲，Lulu影歌雙棲，曾嫁給2003年去世的Maurice Gibb（Bee Gees團員），目前仍活躍於演藝圈，已經做祖母了。
1996年，有To Sir With Love II「吾愛吾師」電視版的續集推出。
