電影「往事如煙」與一首特別的情歌

很多暢銷曲來自一句話或一部電影所產生的靈感，按照作曲者Norro Wilson的說法，Charlie Rich 1974 年鄉村歌曲排行榜冠軍曲A Very Special Love Song就是這類歌曲之一。
Wilson表示：他很喜歡The Summer Of 42「往事如煙」電影的主題曲（Theme From Summer Of 42是Peter Nero 1971年第21名的演奏曲），當年他在Billy Sherrill的辦公室隨意彈還在寫的這首歌的片段，Billy聽到後覺得不錯，而且剛好他準備幫Charlie Rich安排錄音，就與Norro Wilson一同完成這首特別的情歌A Very Special Love Song。
A Very Special Love Song的單曲在1974年二月23日進鄉村歌曲排行榜，四月6日獲得冠軍，而且持續三週，之前這首歌在熱門歌曲排行榜則最高得到11名。
Jennifer O’Neill主演的「往事如煙」是一部唯美的電影，第二次世界大戰時，一個羞澀的青少年在暑假渡假的海邊小鎮迷上了一位年輕的軍官的太太，他想盡辦法去接近她，沒想到這個軍官作戰陣亡…。
我很喜歡這片子，也找到了DVD來珍藏，當然和Norro Wilson一樣更喜歡這片子的主題曲-Peter Nero的Theme From Summer Of 42，和Charlie Rich的A Very Special Love Song。
