英國影視藝術學院將於五月18日頒獎給女歌星Cilla Black，因她對英國影視界有傑出的貢獻。
Cilla Black出生於英國利物浦，本名Priscilla White，她因披頭合唱團的經紀人Brian Epstein的引薦，從披頭發跡的利物浦Cavern俱樂部衣帽管理員搖身一變成為歌星。
有披頭合唱團的幫忙，Cilla Black也上過蘇利文劇場這個美國很權威的電視節目，因此有點知名度，但是在美國排行榜名次最好的歌是只得過26名的You're My World，可是在英國排行榜就不同了，因為從1964-1971年她共有11首排行榜前10名的暢銷曲。
Cilla Black除唱歌外，在英國也主持過電視節目，因強列支持前首相柴契爾夫人，也參與政治活動，而有其知名度。
Cilla Black唱過曾由The Shirelles 與Smith唱紅的Baby It’s
You，曾經也很受台灣歌迷的歡迎。
