Rosanne Cash今年重返歌壇並推出一張The River＆The Thread的專輯，其中包括11首單曲，展現她歌壇35年經驗的精湛演出，甚獲好評。
Rosanne Cash 1955年出生於田納西州孟菲斯，父親是大名鼎鼎的歌壇巨星Johnny Cash，Rosanne自小由母親Vivian Liberto在加州帶大，高中畢業後搬到唱片業重鎮納許維爾，曾跟父親巡迴演唱，後來也踏入歌壇。
Rosanne Cash從1979-1991年共有24首鄉村歌曲排行榜暢銷曲，其中有11首冠軍曲，可見其受鄉村歌迷的歡迎程度。
她在熱門流行歌曲排行榜名次最好的歌是1981年獲得過第22名的Seven Year Ache。
