龐克搖滾三人樂團Green Day於加州Rodeo組成，1994年以When I Come Around得到Billboard Hot 100排行榜第6名而開始走紅，2004年底推出的Boulevard
Of Broken Dreams 獲得五週排行第2名 且獲得當年Grammy年度唱片獎，是他們成績最好的歌，Green Day暢銷曲很多，在歷年暢銷歌星排行榜獲得221名，並於2015年獲選進入搖滾樂名人堂，對一個1990年代中期才踏入歌壇的團體而言，已可算是成績斐然了。
