Trio Los Panchos-Besame mucho

  Billboard雜誌本周挑選出50首橫跨時空最受歡迎的拉丁歌曲、從阿根廷到西班牙，從1920年代到 2018年，其中有墨西哥歌謠、古巴之聲、哥倫比亞莎莎舞曲到現代的巴洽塔舞曲，選曲以歷史性的知名歌曲為主，不在乎排行榜名次高低，所以以字母排列從A到Z。

  這50最受歡迎的拉丁歌曲中，有一首很多歌手及合唱團翻唱過的"Besame Mucho"作曲人是Consuelo Velazquez，1940年Velazquez寫"Besame Mucho"時還是一位少女，因歌詞簡易有哀求感，後來成了流行歌曲史上最多歌手翻唱和西班牙語改寫的一首歌。

  The Beatles「披頭合唱團」剛出道時去一家唱片公司應徵，當時就是演唱這首歌的英語版，不過沒有被錄用。

  很多歌手及合唱團以不同語言翻唱過"Besame Mucho"，其中有Luis Miguel、Diana Krall、Andrea Bocelli、 Harry Connick Jr.、 Michale Bublé、南韓流行歌手Ailee 等， Il Divo 的 2015 年專輯裡也有這首歌。

      在Billboard Hot 100排行榜中Coasters 1960年的版本曾得到第70名。

  我個人最喜歡的版本是Trio Los Panchos 1956年所演唱的"Besame Mucho"。

     Trio Los Panchos 1944年成立於紐約，主唱Chucho Navarro Jr ，他們出版過無數的拉丁抒情歌曲唱片。

Honey Cone-Want Ads

  The  Honey Cone團員 Edna Wright去世(76歲)

  Edna Wright 是The Honey Cone 三重唱成員，這個女子合唱團1971年的暢銷曲"Want Ads"曾經在Billboard Hot 100排行榜獲得冠軍，Wright的姐姐女歌手Darlene Love九月12日周六在社群媒體上證實此訊息。

      "我非常震驚且心碎突然失去了我漂亮的妹妹" Love在臉書上貼文，"這段悲傷的時刻，請替我及家人祈禱"。

     The Honey Cone合唱團是一個R&B演唱團體，在洛杉磯組成，Wright在組The Honey Cone之前曾經擔任過 Ray Charles 、the Righteous Brothers 及Andy Williams的和聲。

     女子合唱團於1960年代主導Billboard Hot 100，The Crystals 、The Shangri-Las、 The Shirelles和其它女子合唱團整整十年都曾登上排行榜頂峰，來自底特律Motown 唱片公司的The Supremes得到12次冠軍，除了The Beatles其它60年代的團體無人能及。

    但一些60年代早期竄起的團體到1969年似乎不再風光，The Supremes 的主唱Diana Ross離團而去唱Solo，她在70年代前期非常成功，但不是每個人都可以照樣走這條路，70年代早期成績還不錯的女子團體就屬The Honey Cone了，1971年6月12日The Honey Cone 的"Want Ads"擠下The Rolling Stones已獲得連續二周冠軍的"Brown Sugar"獲得排行榜冠軍，可以證明她們的實力。

Talking Heads-Burning Down the House

 Talking Heads1984年的一個宣傳影片內容發生種族問題的誤判

   David Byrne  9月1日在推特發出聲明 : 對1983年為了Talking Heads的演唱會Stop Making Sense拍的宣傳影片中模仿有色人種，例如 : 帶咖啡色或黑色面具…表示道歉之意。

    Stop Making Sense 1983年12月在好萊塢The Pantages劇院公演，現場錄音並出版同名專輯。

       在接受很多記者的訪問時，分割畫面上可以看到Byrne 在宣傳片中的不當穿著。

  " 最近有一位記者挑出1983年我在Talking Heads Stop Making Sense演唱會宣傳片中的片段"，Byrne 因此在推特寫了很多說明。

  "我幾乎忘了這些鏡頭，我承認那些挑出來的畫面內容吸引我注意，我自己有很多角色扮演，包括戴上黑色和咖啡色的面具的臉，我知道那是個錯誤的認知，對事情缺乏了解"。

       "好像你看著鏡子，但裡面是別人，你不是想像中的你"。

      Talking Heads 2002年進搖滾樂名人堂，他們在Billboard Hot 100排行榜上名次最好的歌是1983年第9名的歌Burning Down the House。

John Lennon-Imagine

   刺殺John Lennon的兇手第11次被判決不得假釋

  紐約州監所官員透露刺殺John Lennon的兇手已第11次被判決不得假釋。

  Mark David Chapman這個現年65歲的槍手最近已經在紐約州第二大城Buffalo東部的the Wende監獄服刑20年。

  美國德州出生的這個凶手，1980年12月8日晚上從夏威夷飛到紐約曼哈坦Lennon的家門口幹下這起恐怖的殺人案，他作案前一小時前才結束二人私下的會面，還得到一張簽名專輯，Chapman犯案後表示 : 他被Lennon公開的談話所激怒，主要是Lennon講The Beatles「披頭合唱團」比耶穌還紅，他對歌詞裡用到"Imagine" 和 "God"二個字很反感。

  2018年 Chapman告訴假釋委員會，當年他太投入了，他記得有一定要得到那張專輯的想法，他拿那張有Lennon簽名的專輯給委員看，心想拿了簽名專輯回家就好了，但就是沒法接著回家。

  Chapman下一次假釋聽證會要到2022年8月。

  John Lennon的"Imagine"是滾石雜誌500大歌曲榜第3名的歌，1971年某天早晨在英格蘭托汀漢Ascot他家臥室的白色大鋼琴前完成，樂評家說這首歌是 Lennon送給全世界的音樂禮物，歌詞受到他的妻子Yoko Ono影響很大，演唱及錄音技術上則得到偕同製作人Phil Spector的有力幫助。John Lennon自己生前最後一次訪問曾說"Imagine"是比他披頭時期所有作品更好的創作。

  "Imagine"1971年底獲得Record World雜誌排行榜冠軍，在錢櫃Cashbox及票房Billboard雜誌則分別獲得2、3名，前面擋路的是Cher的 "Gypsys, Tramps And Thieves"及Isaac Hayes的"Theme From "Shaft"。那是個每週都有經典好歌出線的時代，想得一個排行榜冠軍還不容易，但"Imagine"得到滾石雜誌500大歌曲榜的第3名比什麼冠軍都重要《500大冠軍Bob Dylan–Like a Rolling Stone 亞軍The Rolling Stones–(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction) 》，因為有價值的歌不只旋律動聽而已，還得有內涵，"Imagine"在由歌手、音樂人、製作人、流行音樂業界名流、評論家及作曲人這些專業人士組成的500大評委會，經由投票評選獲得滾石雜誌500大歌曲榜第3名，殊屬不易。
