  MC HAMMER是1990 年代 #41，歷年 #478 的饒舌歌手。1963 年 3 月 30 日出生於加州奧克蘭，本名 Stanley Kirk Burrell 。是 The Posse 合唱團的饒舌歌手/製作人/創始人/領隊 。The Posse 是一支由八名舞者、DJ 和歌手組成的團體。 1970 年代 Burrell曾擔任美國職棒大聯盟奧克蘭運動家隊的球童，他的綽號 The Little Hammer「小錘子」因他與棒球巨星「錘子」Hank Aaron 漢克·阿倫長得很像而得名。

  女子饒舌樂團 Oaktown 3-5-7 和 80年代的 hip-hop 嘻哈及 funk 放克樂團 Ace Juice 都是 The Posse 的成員。1991 年中期從他的名字 MC HAMMER中刪除了 MC，1995 年重新加入。

  MC HAMMER的暢銷曲 “U Can't Touch This ” 音樂來自 Rick James 的“Super Freak”。1990年這首歌在 Billboard Hot 100 排行榜獲得第8名，R&R /Black排行榜獲得冠軍。葛萊美獎獲得 R&B歌曲及饒舌個人演出獎。並且獲選進 R&R 名人堂。
