十大性感歌曲Rod Stewart有二首

Billboard雜誌6月26日再次公佈歷年歌詞內容與性相關的50首流行歌曲排行榜，除了Olivia Newton-John的Physical奪冠之外，第2名的歌是Rod Stewart的Tonight's The Night（Gonna Be Alright），Rod Stewart還有一首Do Ya Think I'm Sexy獲得這個排行榜第10名。


Tonight's The Night這首歌對非英語系國家歌迷們而言可能只是一首1976年獲得過8週排行榜冠軍的動聽抒情歌曲，但其實它歌詞的顏色是非常深的，全曲給人的印象是Rod Stewart以天賦性感的歌聲唱著歌中的主角與他的「virgin child」女友高興的喝酒…。

當年Rod Stewart的「龐德女郎」女友Britt Ekland在這首歌後段以低聲的法語旁白替這首歌增「色」不少。

Rod Stewart1945年出生於倫敦，1960年代早期在歐洲唱民歌，後來加入搖滾樂手Jeff Beck的樂團，然後轉Faces合唱團直到1975年離開，但同時他個人已開始灌唱片，Rod Stewart曾與女演員Alana Hamilton及超模Rachel Hunter結過婚，在搖滾樂界走紅近40年，暢銷曲極多，歷年暢銷歌星排行榜他排第14名，是流行歌唱界的超級巨星，

Olivia Newton-John 的癌症醫療中心開幕

Olivia Newton-John 掛名位於澳洲Melbourne的癌症醫療中心Olivia Newton-John cancer and wellness centre（ONJCWC）於6月22日舉辦了盛大的開幕典禮，第一位病患將於7月2日進入該中心，這個世界水準的癌症中心，建於1982年即開辦的Austin Hospital醫院中，它除提供癌症醫療外，也對病患做心智與精神等方面的輔導。長期關注環保與動物保護議題的 Olivia Newton-John，1992年得乳癌但康復後對慈善事業亦開始關心出力。


在流行歌壇Olivia Newton-John是歷年暢銷歌星排行榜第33名的巨星，1948年出生於英國Cambridge，但於澳洲Melbourne長大，祖父是諾貝爾獎得主，德國物理學家Max Born，Olivia 16歲時因贏得一項才藝競賽而返回英國，自此踏入歌唱與電影圈，她的歌路近鄉村流行歌曲，自1971年的If Not For You開始直到1985年都不斷有暢銷曲進入排行榜前40名，1978年她與John Travolta一同演出的電影Grease「火爆浪子」與接著的Xanadu「仙納度的狂熱」更使她的事業達到巔峰。

除了歌星、影星頭銜之外，Olivia Newton-John還有企業家的身份，她1984年開創的服裝連鎖事業（Koala Blue）也相當成功。

Olivia Newton-John一共得過四座Grammy獎，有五首歌獲得過排行榜冠軍，其中1981年獲10週冠軍的Physical是成績最好的歌。

2010年Billboard雜誌曾有一項為情人節特別做的調查統計，Physical這首歌列名歷年流行歌曲的歌詞內容與「性」最相關的歌第一名，當年新歌推廣時有二家猶他州的電台曾因這首歌的歌詞具挑逗性而禁播這首歌，後來唱片公司特別拍了以Olivia Newton-John綁頭帶跳有氧舞蹈的影帶去宣傳，以轉移這首歌的性話題，現在回想起來策略是很成功的。

Al Green受芝加哥政治人物歡迎

 六月15日禮拜五美國伊利諾州州長Pat Quinn宣佈當天是「Al Green日」，Al Green參加了於芝加哥郊區舉辦的演唱會，Pat Quinn州長於會中告知社會大眾這個榮譽，年初美國總統歐巴馬在紐約公開場合也唱了幾句Al Green的招牌歌Let’s Stay Together，所以有人說似乎來自芝加哥的政治人物都喜歡Al Green 。


Al Green 1946年出生於阿肯色州Forrest City，他是一位出色的靈魂歌手與作曲人，早年演唱福音歌曲，1960年代中、後期參加過The Creations與Soul Mates合唱團，1969年起開始個人歌唱生涯，他的歌大部份是自己寫的，1980年起他回頭唱福音歌曲，因他多年來對教會的付出，且年事已高，大家尊稱他The Reverend Al Green（Al Green牧師）。

Al Green是1972年的冠軍歌星，他在流行歌曲排行榜名次最好的歌就是當年2月的冠軍曲Let’s Stay Together，這也是他唯一的冠軍曲，這首歌在滾石雜誌500大歌曲榜獲得第60名。

Al Green暢銷曲很多，在歷年暢銷歌星排行榜則獲得第167名，1995年被選入搖滾樂名人堂，2002年獲得Grammy終生成就獎。

Conway Twitty獲故鄉褒揚

已故鄉村歌星Conway Twitty最近獲得美國密西西比州一項殊榮，該州為表彰出生於密西西比於鄉村歌唱界有成就的鄉親們，特別規劃了Mississippi Country Music Trail「密西西比鄉村音樂路徑」，他們在特定的公路定點豎立歌星立牌，在牌上描述該歌星對鄉村歌唱界的貢獻，密西西比州以鄉村歌曲的發源地為榮，它也是Jimmie Rodgers，Tammy Wynette，Conway Twitty 與貓王 Elvis Presley這些名歌星的故鄉。

Conway Twitty的立牌 5月31日於他的出生地Friars Point揭幕。

Conway Twitty出生於1933年，本名Harold Lloyd Jenkins，1993年因血管疾病過世（59歲），Conway 10歲時就組了自己的合唱團the Phillips Country Ramblers，高中畢業時他曾經被費城人隊相中，差點當了職棒球員，但因被徵召去當兵而沒去成。

Conway Twitty一生從搖滾樂偶像歌星轉型成為鄉村歌曲巨星，自1968-1986年在鄉村歌曲排行榜一共唱出了40首排行榜冠軍曲，這個記錄直到2006年才被George Strait打破，1971-1976年Conway Twitty與「礦工的女兒」Loretta Lynn的搭擋二重唱曾經替他們贏得許多獎。

Conway Twitty佳作極多，在歷年暢銷歌星排行榜中獲得第325名，他1975年與女兒Joni Lee合唱的Don’t Cry Joni是一首很可愛的情歌。

披頭George Harrison獨子完婚

已故Beatles合唱團吉它手George Harrison的獨子Dhani Harrison，上週末與他交往很久的女友Solveig “Sola” Karadottir結婚了，Dhani父親的Beatles合唱團伙伴Paul McCartney與Ringo Starr都參加了在泰晤士河畔豪宅舉行的婚禮，Paul McCartney的女兒Stella還幫新娘設計了禮服。


Dhani Harrison的新婚妻子Solveig的父親是冰島神經病理學者，目前是一家生技公司老闆。



Dhani的名字來自印度（發音同Danny），1960年代中期，George Harrison對印度文化產生很大的興趣，透過他讓西方人認識了席塔琴音樂，他的兒子取印度名並不令人意外，Dhani與父親感情很好，他們都很迷F-1賽車，Dhani曾與父親一同去世界各地參加賽車大賽。

2001年11月29日George Harrison不幸因喉癌去世後，Dhani與長輩前ELO與Traveling Wilburys合唱團的要角Jeff Lynne合作完成父親最後一張專輯Brainwashed，等於正式承襲了父親的職業歌唱生涯，並於2006年組了Thenewno2合唱團，演唱歌路屬另類搖滾。

Dhani曾告訴記者：別人以為身為有錢名人的小孩大概每天晚上到處趕場參加Party，其實他像父親一樣是一個熱愛工作的人，雖然歌迷們看到他的臉，聽到他的歌聲就會想到他的父親，但是沒關係，搞自己的音樂是很過癮的事。

Beatles 1966年的專輯Rubber Soul當中的Norwegian Wood(This Bird Has Flown) George Harrison曾用席塔琴伴奏，這首歌沒推出過單曲，但於滾石雜誌歷年500大歌曲榜獲得第83名，是一首很有名的歌。

Rolf Harris獲頒獎章

祝賀英國伊莉莎白女王生日，澳洲也於本月11日宣怖了發揮中世紀騎士精神the Order of Australia榮譽獎章得主，其一是1963 年唱紅Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport這首最有澳洲風味老歌的男歌手Rolf Harris，他本來已獲得過四級的Member of the Order of Australia，但是英國發的，這次將獲提名三級的Officer of the Order of Australia。


另一位1978年唱紅Love Is In The Air的男歌手John Paul Young也將獲得Officer of the Order of Australia獎章，他是因為從事慈善工作而獲獎。

Rolf Harris出生於澳洲伯斯，1950年代移民英國，在BBC做過電視節目，他用木板甩動發聲搭配演唱這首歌的表演，令人印象深刻。

澳洲歌手與合唱團在英、美排行榜成績很不錯，像Air Supply、Olivia Newton-John、Rick Springfield等的歌在台灣也很受歡迎。

「袋鼠歌」Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport於1963 年獲得過Billboard排行榜第3名。

二年前趁工作轉換空檔到一家電台開了一個西洋歌曲老歌的節目，三個月後因廣告不濟收場，我與負責廣告的老友最後的定調是『叫好不叫座』，那家電台的高層主管告訴我：他們的收聽對象定位在四十歲以下的年輕人，我的老歌節目不在他們的節目規劃當中，之後我找了二家北部大電台高層也持同樣論調，可是其中之一以自網路學來的無主持人全天播放西洋歌曲的頻道規劃得了金鐘獎，（我不知道評審怎麼評的？）廣告收入的現實面讓電台不從聽眾的角度去規劃節目，對我這樣一個資深媒体人而言並不忍苛責，但難道他們在節目中叫賣阿里山茶也只賣四十歲以下的年輕人嗎？其實我們的跨國廣告客戶覺得廣播廣告「無效」，那才是我們不能繼續節目的主要原因。


我剛出社會的時候廣播和電視二種工作同時兼著做，曾經二度有機會進入知名電台，且其中之一可以補缺取得公務員資格，但是我決定朝電視圈發展，把長輩的好意一一回拒了，只以業餘性質的方式主持了十年的音樂節目，現在回想起來偶有一絲遺憾，但並不後悔。

其實現在網路如此發達，從前不易聽到的歌與相關資訊很容易從網路搜索到，音樂網站還提供不同分類，對像我這樣的老歌迷而言真是太方便了，那節目停播後我持續每週二次在部落格寫老歌訊息，感謝朋友們的支持給我寫下去的動力。

最近應Ettoday老友陳世昌副總編輯之邀，每週新稿也轉於該網站「名家」與「國際」、「影劇」等欄發表，因擔憂著作權問題，我一直不放圖片及連結YouTube，在他們那裡也解決了，歡迎朋友們也前去觀賞指教。

今後仍會抽空維持每週寫二篇稿，但配合新聞時效性，不見得固定週三與週日寫，朋友們將可以看到最新的老歌資訊！

最近有新的工作開始忙，其實沒有時間去主持節目了，好在網路上發表文章搭YouTube，比廣播也差不了多少，挑一首Beatles沒進過排行榜的歌和你分享我最近的好心情吧！
