Bee Gee 的團員Robin Gibb 10月27日被迫取消一場在倫敦為英國王室的演出，因為他病得很重無法唱歌，Robin最近才剛出院，他因結腸炎住院二次，Robin同時也取消了週一與英國首相之約，他們本來要會面研究出一首慈善單曲的事。
Robin Gibb 1949年出生於英國曼徹斯特，是Bee Gee三兄弟合唱團中另一位Maurice的双生兄弟，Bee Gee是歷年暢銷歌星與合唱團排行榜第27名的超級合唱團体，1960年代後期起他們的抒情歌曲和1970年代後期轉型演唱包括電影Saturday Night Fever「週末的狂熱」插曲在內的迪斯可節奏歌曲，讓他們在不同世代歌迷心目中都留下深刻的印象。
Bee Gee三兄弟的另一位弟弟Andy Gibb在歷年暢銷歌星排行榜也是獲得第294名的紅歌手，可惜1988年30歲時就已去世，而Maurice Gibb則於2003年不幸去世，Robin與Maurice因是双生兄弟，二人也都有結腸方面類似病況，其實頗令人擔憂。
Robin Gibb個人的單曲名次最好的是1978年Bee Gee與Peter Frampton合演取材自Beatles名曲的電影Sgt.Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band當中的插曲Oh Darling，曾獲第15名，而1984年的Boys Do Fall In Love雖然只獲得37名，卻是極受年輕朋友歡迎的一首舞曲。
