Lynn Anderson母親過世

鄉村歌曲作曲人與歌星Liz Anderson10月31日去世（80歲），Liz Anderson是一位成功的鄉村歌手，1967年曾獲兩項葛萊美獎提名，其中之一是她自己寫的"Mama Spank"提名「最佳女聲演唱獎」，另 一首歌是她與Bobby Bare和Norma Jean三人合唱的"The Game of Triangles"提名「最佳鄉村歌曲合唱團獎」，這二首歌都獲得鄉村歌曲排行榜前5名，而Liz Anderson也替Merle Haggard寫過暢銷曲"All My Friends Are Gonna Be Strangers"和"I'm a Lonesome Fugitive"，後來Merle Haggard因而把他的樂隊取名"The Strangers"。


Liz Anderson 1965年因試唱帶獲RCA製作人也是名吉它手Chet Atkins賞識而與RCA簽約，除了前面介紹的二首歌外，她其它暢銷曲還有"Go Now Pay Later" (1966), "The Wife of the Party" (1967), "Tiny Tears" (1967), "Thanks A Lot For Tryin' Anyway" (1968) (一首非她自己寫的歌), 與"Husband Hunting" (1970).。

Liz Anderson的先生是Casey Anderson，他們只有一個女兒，就是1970年以Rose Garden一曲成名的Lynn Anderson，1966-1989年Lynn Anderson有60首歌進入鄉村歌曲排行榜，台灣樂友較少機會聽鄉村歌曲，但對Rose Garden這首歌應不陌生，這首歌在1970年曾得到流行歌曲排行榜第3名，也是BMI全美最常播出100首歌曲排行榜第99名的歌。
