"I Don't Want to Miss a Thing"，這一首歌於1998年9月5日推出，是Bruce Willis 布魯斯·威利主演的電影Armageddon《世界末日》的插曲。

《世界末日》是一部1998年科幻災難片，該片由 Michael Bay麥可貝執導，片名Armageddon來自聖經啟示錄。該片講述了美國國家航空暨太空總署派遣鑽油工人在撞擊地球的小行星上鑽井，並炸毀該小行星的故事。

Aerosmith是來自波士頓的搖滾樂團，在歷年暢銷歌星與合唱團排行榜獲得第85名，另一個來自波士頓且以波士頓為名的搖滾樂團Boston，則獲得第488名。

Aerosmith主唱是Steven Tyler，他的女兒Liv Tyler是知名的模特兒及演員，在《世界末日》片中飾演布魯斯·威利的女兒Grace，相信大家印象都很深刻。

Aerosmith暢銷曲不少，1976年以加長版的Dream On獲得第6名（此曲1973年初次推出只得過59名）才開始走紅，Dream On後來在滾石500大歌曲榜還得到第172名，但Aerosmith一直沒有歌得過排行榜冠軍，直到1998年推出的電影插曲"I Don't Want to Miss a Thing"才替他們得到四週冠軍，且是於推出當週即獲得排行榜冠軍，電影的受歡迎當然是主要原因，但"I Don't Want to Miss a Thing"確實是一首動聽的Rock Ballad。
