社群媒體有消息傳出，R&B 歌星、Grammy獎得主James Ingram去世了（66歲）。
製作人Quincy Jones曾與James Ingram合作過，這位過世的歌手在Jones的專輯The Dude當中的演唱使他得到突破，Jones在推特當中特別親自介紹Ingram演唱那首"Just Once"的錄影。

Jones描述Ingram的歌喉醉人且富有靈魂歌曲的特性，他表示James Ingram去世的噩耗，讓他無法用任何字眼表達他對這位兄弟去世的傷痛。

James Ingram 1952年出生於美國俄亥俄州Akron，是一位R&B歌手、作曲人及鋼琴手，作品不少，在歷年暢銷歌星排行榜獲得第369名，他在熱門排行榜名次最好的歌是1982年的2週冠軍曲"Baby
Come To Me"，而他1986年與Linda
Ronstadt合唱的卡通電影An American Tail「美國鼠譚」主題曲，獲得過熱門排行榜第2名的"Somewhere Out There"，曾獲得當年Grammy年度歌曲獎，是一首令人懷念的歌。
