      鄉村音樂傳奇人物Charlie Daniels去世

   鄉村音樂名人堂成員Charlie Daniels 7月6日因中風去世，目前當紅的鄉村歌星Brad Paisley 15歲時得到一個與Daniels一起表演的合同， Daniels的音樂技巧及他倆的深厚友誼令他懷念不已。

   Brad Paisley 1972年出生於美國西維吉尼亞州Glen Dale，是集歌唱、作曲、吉他彈奏於一身的鄉村歌星，1999-2017年有19首歌獲得鄉村歌曲排行榜冠軍。

   Brad Paisley曾到Charlie Daniels的農場錄音室和他一起錄2007 年的專輯 Deuces，現場還有Double Trouble、Stevie Ray Vaughan surviving band，Charlie 負責彈吉他。

   他倆後來在Brad Paisley 2013 年專輯 Wheelhouse再度合作，其中的單曲“Karate”是Brad Paisley與Chris DuBois 及Kelly Loveless一起寫的，歌的內容寫一個受到家暴的人妻，Brad 很喜歡來自Kill Bill一首鄉村歌曲的創意，這個女子的丈夫是個渾蛋，歌裡這一段想以饒舌調表現，Brad立即想到最適合的人就是Charlie Daniels，因為Charlie 懂得對抗及戰鬥的歌，他的名曲“The Devil Went Down to Georgia”就有這個味道。Brad Paisley也覺得Charlie Daniels是饒舌歌曲的開創者之一，饒舌是什麼歌 ? 饒舌歌曲就是歌詞用講的，綜合節奏、談話和旋律。

     Charlie Daniels 1936年出生於美國北卡羅來納州，他是一位鄉村搖滾歌手，小提琴拉得很好，Charlie Daniels Band 在John Travolta主演的電影Urban Cowboy「都市牛郎」當中曾現場演唱“The Devil Went Down to Georgia”。

  “The Devil Went Down to Georgia”除了獲得鄉村歌曲榜冠軍之外，在Billboard Hot 100榜獲得2周第3名，也獲得Grammy 鄉村合唱團獎。
