   "High Hopes" 本來是二十世紀歌王Frank Sinatra(1915-1998) 於1959年獲得過30名的一首老歌，它也獲得當年奧斯卡金像獎最佳電影歌曲獎，它是Frank Sinatra自己主演的電影A Hole In The Head的插曲，單曲以Frank Sinatra and a bunch of kids(featuring Eddie Hodges)推出。

  Panic! at the Disco的"High Hopes"則是他們的主唱Brendon Urie的創作歌曲，與Frank Sinatra的版本並不相同。

  Panic! at the Disco是一個來自拉斯維加的龐克搖滾樂團，主唱是Brendon Urie，2006年他們以I Write Sins Not Tragedies獲得Billboard Hot 100排行榜第七名而嶄露頭角，他們的"High Hopes"於2018年6/9推出37週後最高獲得第4名，是他們在流行歌曲榜名次最好的歌。

     Panic! at the Disco的主唱Brendon Urie 很崇拜Frank Sinatra，唱起Sinatra的老歌也很有韻味，他以"High Hopes"的意思「厚望」寫了這首歌，歌迷們愛屋及烏也很喜歡這首歌，有人誤以為是Frank Sinatra所唱，還有歌迷說他的祖父因此曲而喜歡Brendon Urie的歌。

     Spencer Day是一位現代爵士歌手、作曲人，2002-2003從CBS 追星節目出線，他以仿Frank Sinatra的復古感錄了Panic At The Disco 的"High Hopes"這首歌(High Hopes - Panic At The Disco (Vintage Frank Sinatra Style Cover) ft. Spencer Day)，表演的感覺像極了Frank Sinatra走紅的那個年代，歌喉又像Brendon Urie，就連Nora Germain的小提琴獨奏都受到許多歌迷們的歡迎，有人覺得小提琴能奏來像薩克斯風，也真不簡單。 

  近幾年流行的 PostModern 後現代老歌新唱，讓Ballad歌謠、Big-band大樂隊、Smooth抒情曲、Ragtime散拍音樂、Bluegrass青草地、R&B節奏與藍調、 Soul 靈魂歌曲…等各個時代的經典重現，這首以PostModern手法演唱新創作的"High Hopes"是其中的佼佼者。
