懷念的50年代老歌

2001年的10月17日詞曲作者Jay Livingston因肺炎去世，她寫的歌在1950年代被美國很多流行歌手所灌唱，其中Jay Livingston與Ray Evans所合作的由Doris Day桃樂絲黛所唱紅的那首Doris Day與James Stewart詹姆士史都華合演的電影The Man Who Knew Too Much「擒兇記」的插曲Whatever Will Be, Will Be (Que Sera, Sera），在1956年曾獲排行榜三週第二名，也是當年奧斯卡最佳電影插曲，影歌雙棲的桃樂絲黛自1948年開始即有暢銷歌曲如A Guy Is A Guy、Secret Love等，老歌迷與影迷們應該都很喜歡她。
Jay Livingston另外一首有名的電影插曲是Nat King Cole所唱的Mona Lisa。
2007年10月17日有另外一位1950年代的名歌星去世，那就是Teresa Brewer（76歲），她的Till I Waltz With You、Let Me Go,Lover、A Tear Fell在當年都是很受歡迎的歌，在1955年開始統計的歷年暢銷歌星排行榜上Teresa Brewer是獲得第268名的一位令人難忘的歌星。
