B.J. Thomas為德州遊騎兵隊加油

今年MLB美國職棒世界大賽最後是由德州遊騎兵隊與舊金山巨人隊爭冠，因為王建民與郭泓志的關係，我比較喜歡看洋基、光芒、紅襪和道奇這些隊的比賽，主要是球員比較熟識，輸贏無所謂，欣賞球技優先啦！
禮拜五晚上在德州阿靈頓所舉行的騎兵隊對洋基隊的那場美聯冠軍戰，開場唱國歌所請來的是老歌星B.J. Thomas，這位唱紅由保羅紐曼和勞柏瑞福所主演的電影Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid「虎豹小霸王」插曲Raindrops Keep Fallin’ On My Head的男歌星，是在德州Rosenberg長大的，在歷年暢銷歌星排行是第174名的著名鄉村流行歌手，獲1969年奧斯卡最佳電影歌曲獎的Raindrops Keep Fallin’ On My Head是由1960年代最紅的詞曲搭擋Hal David 與Burt Bacharach所寫的，這首歌曾連續獲4週排行榜冠軍，而他的另一首排行榜冠軍曲是1975年的（Hey Won’t You Play）Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song。
1976年後B.J. Thomas改唱福音歌曲。
