Grammy獎辦演唱會向Paul Simon致敬，參與演出的有Dave Matthews, Brad Paisley等現今知名藝人的特色表演。
大會和CBS唱片公司宣布這一場特別的演唱會是為了向獲得16次Grammy獎的Paul Simon致敬。
"Homeward Bound:
A GRAMMY Salute to the Songs of Paul Simon"將於4月6日在好萊塢 Pantages Theatre戲院舉行。
一個Grammy-獎得主的黃金陣容與過往及現今獲得提名過的歌星們將向Paul Simon這位傳奇歌手與作曲人的一生獻上最深的敬意。
參加這場盛會的歌手有: Brandi Carlile, Rhiannon
Giddens, Angélique Kidjo, Little Big Town, Dave Matthews, Brad Paisley, Billy Porter, Shaggy, Take 6, Irma Thomas,及 Trombone Shorty。
Paul
Simon 1941年出生於美國紐澤西州紐瓦克，在紐約Queens區成長，中學時代認識Art Garfunkel之後倆人就開始一起玩音樂，1964年他們推出了第一張專輯，1971年與Garfunkel分手後開始個人的歌唱事業。
Paul Simon暢銷曲很多，在歷年暢銷歌星排行榜獲得第223名，2001年獲選進入搖滾樂名人堂，他在Billboard Hot 100單曲排行榜上名次最好的歌是 1975年獲得3周冠軍的"50 Ways To Leave Your Lover"，而另一首獲得Billboard Hot 100單曲排行榜第2名的"Loves Me Like A Rock "則在Cash Box錢櫃雜誌獲得冠軍。
本次活動的主題"Homeward Bound "「回鄉之旅」 是Simon & Garfunkel 1966年獲得第5名的一首名曲。
