Rick Springfield-Jessie’s Girl

Jessie’s Girl

lyrics：Richard Springthorpe

Jessie is a friend
Yeah, I know, he's been a good friend of mine
But lately something's changed that ain't hard to define
Jessie's got himself a girl and I want to make her mine

And she's watching him with those eyes
And she's loving him with that body, I just know it
Yeah, and he's holding her in his arms late, late at night
You know, I wish that I had

Jessie's girl
I wish that I had Jessie's girl
Where can I find a woman like that?

I'll play along with the charade
There doesn't seem to be a reason to change
You know, I feel so dirty when they start talking cute
I wanna tell her that I love her, but the point is probably moot

'Cause she's watching him with those eyes
And she's loving him with that body, I just know it
And he's holding her in his arms late, late at night
You know, I wish that I had

Jessie's girl
I wish that I had Jessie's girl
Where can I find a woman like that?

Like Jessie's girl
I wish that I had Jessie's girl
Where can I find a woman-
Where can I find a woman like that?

And I'm looking in the mirror all the time
Wonderin' what she don't see in me
I've been funny, I've been cool with the lines
Ain't that the way love's supposed to be?

Tell me, where can I find a woman like that?

You know, I wish that I had

Jessie's girl
I wish that I had Jessie's girl
I want Jessie's girl
Where can I find a woman like that?

Like Jessie's girl
I wish that I had Jessie's girl
I want, I want Jessie's girl

Leon Russell-A Song for You

Leon Russell是誰?為何他可以進the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame《搖滾樂名人堂》?

The Rolling Stones、Bob Dylan、Eric Clapton、 Frank Sinatra、Gary Puckett and the Union Gap、Ringo Star、 The Beach Boys、Jerry Lee Lewis、George Harrison、Herb Albert、The Byrds、BB King、 Gary Lewis and the Playboys、以及Phil Spector這些大咖們伴奏過，身為Spector的錄音團隊 “Wrecking Crew” 一份子，Leon Russell在the Ronettes的成名曲“Be My Baby” 及 Ike & Tina Turner的“River Deep – Mountain High” 擔任主鍵琴手。

  1970年Russell 一張同名的專輯《Leon Russell》首度推出，其中的“A Song for You”成了他的代表作，那首歌後來有很多名家灌唱，包括Willie Nelson、Whitney Houston、Donny Hathaway及 Ray Charles。

  Leon還與Barbara Streisand一同寫了“Lost Inside of You”， 這首歌後來成了〈A Star is Born〉的電影插曲之一，而且Leon在電影插曲中擔任鋼琴伴奏。

  Leon Russell 1972.年開了一家The Church Studio錄音室，在那裏錄製過Bob Dylan的“Watching the River Flow”.。

Elton John

  Leon Russell

A Song for You

lyrics：Leon Russell

I've been so many places in my life and time
I've sung a lot of songs
I've made some bad rhymes
I've acted out my life in stages
With ten thousand people watching

But we're alone now
And I'm singing this song to you

I know your image of me
Is what I hoped to be
I treated you unkindly
But darling, can't you see?
There's no one more important to me
Baby, can't you see through me?

'Cause we're alone now
And I'm singing this song to you

You taught me precious secrets
Of a true love withholding nothing
You came out in front when I was hiding
Now I'm so much better
And if my words don't come together
Listen to the melody
'Cause my love is in there hiding

I love you in a place
Where there's no space or time
I love you for my life
You're a friend of mine
And when my life is over
Remember when we were together

We were alone
And I was singing this song to you

I love you in a place
Where there's no space or time
I love you for my life
You're a friend of mine
And when my life is over
Remember when we were together

We were alone
And I was singing this song to you
We were alone
And I was singing this song to you
We were alone
And I was singing this song, mm
Singing this song to you

Irene Cara-Flashdance…What a Feeling

  Irene Cara唱的電影插曲“Flashdance…What a Feeling”於1983年3月推出，電影接著再4月15發片，在第二周就得到票房冠軍，而“Flashdance…What a Feeling”單曲五月底起在Billboard Hot 100排行榜獲得冠軍。

Flashdance...What A Feeling

Lyrics：Giorgio Moroder / Irene Cara / Keith Forsey

First, when there's nothing
But a slow glowing dream
That your fear seems to hide
Deep inside your mind

All alone, I have cried
Silent tears full of pride
In a world made of steel
Made of stone

Well, I hear the music
Close my eyes, feel the rhythm
Wrap around, take a hold of my heart

What a feeling
Being's believin'
I can have it all, now I'm dancing for my life

Take your passion
And make it happen
Pictures come alive
You can dance right through your life

Now I hear the music
Close my eyes, I am rhythm
In a flash, it takes hold of my heart

What a feeling
Being's believin'
I can have it all, now I'm dancing for my life

Take your passion
And make it happen
Pictures come alive
You can dance right through your life
What a feeling

What a feeling (I am music now)
Being's believin' (I am rhythm now)
Pictures come alive
You can dance right through your life

What a feeling (I can really have it all)
What a feeling (pictures come alive when I call)
I can have it all (I can really have it all)
Have it all (pictures come alive when I call)
(Call, call, call, call)

I can have it all (being's believin')
Being's believin' (take your passion)

Make it happen
(What a feeling)
What a feeling

All For Love

Lyrics：Bryan Adams / Michael Arnold Kamen / Robert John Lange

Thank you, Wembley

You've been a fantastic audience tonight

And I'm sure there'll be a bootleg in your shop soon

Anyway, we're gonna be hanging around London for a few days after this and

If I see you the-, if I see you on the street, please say hello, all right?

When it's love you give, I'll be a man of good faith

Then in love you'll live, I'll make a stand and won't break

I'll be the rock you can build on

Be there when you're old, to have and to hold

When there's love inside, I swear I'll always be strong

Then there's a reason why, I'll prove to you we belong

I'll be the wall that protects you

From the wind and the rain, from the hurt and the pain, yeah!

Let's make it! (All for one and all for love)

Let the one you hold be the one you want, the one you need

'Cause when it's all for one, it's one for all

When there's someone that should know, then just let your feelings show

And make it all for one and all for love

When it's love you make, I'll be the fire in your night

When it's love you take I will defend, I will fight

I'll be there when you need me

When honor's at stake, this vow I will make

Let's make it! (All for one and all for love)

Let the one you hold be the one you want, the one you need

'Cause when it's all for one, it's one for all

When there's someone that should know, then just let your feelings show

And make it all for one and all for love

Don't lay our love to rest

'Cause we can stand up to the test

We've got everything and more

Than we had planned

More than the rivers that run the land

We got it all in our hands!

Let's make it! (All for one and all for love)

Let the one you hold be the one you want, the one you need

'Cause when it's (All for one, it's one for all) It's one for all

When there's someone that should know, then just let your feelings show

When there's someone that you want, someone that you need, let's make it

All, all for one

And all for love

If I may

I'd like to introduce you to the members of the band because without them

We would not have had this great evening

First of all, on the bass guitar, Mr. David Taylor!

On the percussion back there, from London, England, Mr. Danny Cummings!

On the piano and organ, ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Tommy Mandel!

And let's get ready to rumble, ladies and gentlemen

For the drummer, Mr. Mickey Curry!

From North Vancouver, Mr. Keith Scott!
