Bertie Higgins Casablanca

    以〈Key Largo 〉 成名的 Bertie Higgins 1944年出生於佛羅里達州Tarpon Springs。由於他與妻子 Beverly Seaberg常常在周末看老電影，所以熱愛亨弗萊·鮑嘉和英格麗·褒曼這對經典電影搭檔，受到亨弗萊·鮑嘉和英格麗·褒曼主演的 1948 年電影《Key Largo》的啟發他們寫了， 〈Key Largo〉這首歌，推出後並且在Billboard Hot 100排行榜上獲得第8名。  

    在他的《Just Another Day In Paradise》專輯中，有一首沒有推出單曲但非常受歡迎的歌〈Casablanca〉，也是 Bertie Higgins 根據同名電影所寫的歌。

     亨弗萊·鮑嘉和英格麗·褒曼主演的《北非諜影》是一部1942年的美國愛情電影，影史上最成功的經典電影之一。本片榮獲1944年奧斯卡的最佳影片、最佳導演，和最佳改編劇本獎。這部電影的角色、劇情、以及主題曲 都成為了一種文化標誌。2007年美國編劇協會公佈影史「最偉大的101部電影劇本」名單，由「北非諜影」奪冠。
