Joan Baez -Diamonds and Rust

   Joan Baez 1941年9月1日出生於紐約史泰登島（英國和墨西哥混血）。傑出的民歌風格藝術家。 1950年代末期就讀波士頓大學期間，成為政治活動家。 1959年7月，在首屆紐波特民謠音樂節上首次亮相。 1960年代初，她從傳統民歌轉向流行民謠。對鮑勃迪倫的職業生涯發展影響深遠。

  Joan Baez 曾獲得獎項 2007年葛萊美獎終身成就獎 。2017年進R&R 搖滾樂名人堂。

  《Diamonds and Rust》專輯於1975年推出後於Billboard專輯排行榜最高獲得第 11名成為她最暢銷的專輯。同名單曲則獲得第35名。
