Phil Everly去世

對Beatles, the Beach Boys, Simon and Garfunkel都有影響，於1950年代後期及1960年代前期很受歡迎的the Everly Brothers二重唱，團員之一的Phil Everly，元月三日不幸於加州Burbank因肺疾去世（74歲），Phil 1939年出生於芝加哥，與哥哥Don兄弟倆學生時代就跟唱鄉村歌曲與民歌的父母在愛阿華州及田納西州四處表演，後來受到鄉村歌唱界前輩Chet Atkins的賞識，幫小兄弟簽下哥倫比亞唱片公司的合約，但因只出了一張唱片成績不好，Chet又介紹他們給Wesley Rose出版社，跟另一家Cadence唱片公司簽了作曲約，很有趣的是他們第一首Cadence唱片的單曲"Bye Bye Love"是夫妻檔詞曲作者Boudeleaux 與 Felice Bryant所寫，卻於1957年獲得排行榜第2名的佳績，這首歌也是the Everly Brothers一共26首排行榜前40名暢銷曲的第一首。他們接著的"Wake Up Little Susie"得了排行榜冠軍，其它的"All I have To Is Dream" (1958), "Bird Dog" (1958) and "Cathy's Clown" (1960)也都獲得了排行榜冠軍 。

 

1960年代後期the Everly Brothers的成績開始走下坡，且壓力爆增，1973年一場在加州的演唱會舞台上，Phil Everly正在唱著"Cathy's Clown"時丟下他的吉它跑回後台，在現場所有人一陣錯愕中，Don Everly只好宣告the Everly Brothers和歌迷們再見，一直到1983年the Everly Brothers才在倫敦Royal Albert Hall開復出演唱會，然後一直在一起表演沒有再分手，2003與2004年他們都應邀在Simon and Garfunkel的演唱會裡當特別來賓，Paul Simon與Art Garfunkel承認the Everly Brothers對他們的合聲影響很大。

The Everly Brothers 1986年率先被選入搖滾樂名人堂，同年在好萊塢的星光大道獲得榮譽之星，1997年獲得Grammy終生成就獎，並於2001年選入鄉村音樂名人堂，他們在歷年暢銷歌星排行榜也獲得第42名的佳績。

前披頭George Harrison不當爵士

一家英國報紙報導，已故前披頭合唱團The Beatles團員George Harrison於公元2000年時曾經婉拒領一個皇家勳章，一般認為他拒領這個勳章的原因係因為和他披頭合唱團伙伴Paul McCartney 1997年所獲的勳章相比層級較低，而次年George Harrison就因喉癌去世了。

 

George Harrison 1943年出生於英國利物浦Wavertree，13歲時組過一個The Rebels合唱團，1958年加入John Lennon與Paul McCartney的The Quarrymen合唱團，這個團就是後來的The Beatles，George Harrison是該團的主奏吉它手。

 

1971年，披頭合唱團解散後的次年，George Harrison在紐約麥迪遜花園廣場舉辦了一場孟加拉公益演唱會The Bangladesh Benefit Concerts，為The Beatles這個天團解散後再創話題。

 

1980年代晚期George Harrison曾經加入Traveling Wilburys，這個超級樂團成員每人都有化名，如Bob Dylan叫Lucky，ELO的Jeff Lynne叫Otis，Roy Orbison叫Lefty，Tom Petty叫Junior，George Harrison則是Nelson，他們假扮成兄弟樂團在流行歌壇玩票性的錄過一些歌。

 

George Harrison在The Beatles時期主唱過Something、While My Guitar Gently Weep及Here Comes The Sun等幾首較受歡迎的歌。他個人在排行榜上名次最好的歌是1970年的四週冠軍曲My Sweet Lord，在歷年暢銷歌星排行榜上他獲得第231名。

瑪麗奧斯門做祖母了

瑪麗奧斯門Marie Osmond做祖母了，曾經以電視綜藝歌唱節目「青春樂」風靡電視機前面觀眾的瑪麗奧斯門，轉眼已經54歲，12月19日她的兒子Stephen的太太生了一個兒子。

 

瑪麗奧斯門1959年出生於猶他州的Ogden，14歲開始就和她的哥哥們一同在演唱會表演，後來和她最有名的哥哥Donny Osmond一起主持Donny ＆ Marie電視綜藝歌唱節目，在台灣播出時叫「青春樂」，這個節目受到了全球觀眾們的歡迎。

 

Donny ＆ Marie後來轉型談話節目，而瑪麗奧斯門一直在美國電視界發展，直到2007年她才以Dancing With The Stars節目暫別電視工作。

 

在個人的歌唱事業方面她除了1973年第5名的Paper Roses廣為人知外，在1985年曾以與知名男歌星Dan Seals合唱的Meet Me In Montana獲得鄉村歌曲榜冠軍，1986年她的There's No Stopping Your Heart及You're Still New To Me也都獲得鄉村歌曲榜冠軍，後者是與另一名歌手Paul Davis合唱。

迪斯可鴨主持人遭竊

十月初曾經傳出病重消息的鄉村歌星Ray Price，12月16日不幸去世了，Ray以1971年的抒情曲"For The Good Times"一曲成名，相信歌迷們會永遠懷念他。

 

來自洛杉磯機的電台節目主持人Rick Dees，12月9日向警方報案說他出城時家裡被小偷侵入，損失的珠寶估計約十萬美元，警方已展開調查。

 

Rick Dees於1950年出生於佛羅里達州Jacksonville，原來在鄉村音樂工業很發達的孟菲斯的WMPS-Memphis電台當主持人，1976年在迪斯可音樂發燒的同時，他發揮想像力錄製了一首Disco Duck（Part 1），沒想到獲得了排行榜冠軍，也使他成了全美最有名的電台節目主持人。

 

Rick Dees後來於1984年主持過電視熱門音樂節目Solid Gold，1990年還有過自己的談話節目Into The Night，雖然錄過好幾首歌，但只有Disco Duck（Part 1）進過排行榜Top 40。

Madonna與小男友分手

Madonna現在又變成單身女郎了，和法國舞星Brahim Zaibat在一起三年後，Madonna的助理最近證實他倆已經分手。Madonna現年55歲，Zaibat 25歲，他們2010年開始約會，去年Zaibat還參與Madonna的MDNA世界巡迴演唱。

 

Madonna2012年初曾告訴記者對她倆的關係看得很淡，她舉例當回家卸妝休息的時候，她要Zaibat幫她按摩，Zaibat會拒絕，反而倒過來要Madonna幫他按摩，所以Madonna覺得在舞台背後她只是一個普通人而已。

 

對交了一個這麼年輕的男朋友，Madonna解釋她並沒有刻意追尋，她只是與一個年輕人有一段情，事情就是發生了，對她而言很羅曼蒂克，她只是碰到一個她在乎的人，而此人剛巧很年輕。

 

Madonna與Zaibat之間到底發生什麼事了？內線消息是說他們在一起的時候每天一起跳舞和工作，後來就很少見面了。

 

Madonna是歷年暢銷歌星排行榜第4名的巨星，1958年出生於密西根州的Bay City，1984年以Like A Virgin獲得六週排行榜冠軍而開始走紅，2008年獲選入搖滾樂名人堂，她是搖滾樂界的頭號女歌星，自1984至2008年Madonna與Whitney Houston、Mariah Carey、Janet Jackson四人一共獲得51 首排行榜冠軍曲，創了歷史記錄。

Freddy Fender的懷念金曲

有一些熱門流行歌曲排行榜的暢銷老歌翻唱重新推出後，變成鄉村歌曲排行榜的

暢銷曲，Freddy Fender的第三首鄉村歌曲排行榜的冠軍曲"Secret Love"就是一個

例子。

這首歌由Sammy Fain與 Paul FrancisWebster所寫，是1953年由Doris Day

「桃樂斯黛 」這一位1950年代影歌雙棲紅星所主演的電影"CalamityJane"「珍妮

的遭遇」當中的插曲，曾獲得當年奧斯卡最佳電影歌曲獎，鄉村歌星Slim Whitman

於1954年翻唱的版本曾經獲得鄉村歌曲排行榜第3名。

Freddy Fender後來也錄了這首歌放在他的專輯唱片"Are You Ready For Freddy"

當中，Freddy Fender說他的製作人Huey Meaux挑好了專輯裡的所有歌，而且事

先把音樂部份都錄好，他只要去錄演唱部份然後混音就完工了。

Freddy Fender的這首單曲於1975年10月11日進入鄉村歌曲排行榜，於12月6

日獲得排行榜冠軍。

Freddy Fender 本名 Baldemar Huerta，1937年出生於德州San Benito，自1975 年

至 1983年他一共有21首歌進鄉村歌曲排行榜，在熱門流行歌曲排行榜他的

Before The Next Teardrops Fall獲得過冠軍，Wasted Days And Wasted Nights則獲

得過第8名，而Secret Love則獲得第20名。

Freddy Fender已於2006年因癌症去世（69歲）。
