Sly Stone一直有吸毒麻煩

Sly Stone因為心臟病6月10日在洛杉磯住院，他因此無法出庭回應擁有古柯鹼的指控，4月1日Sly Stone搭別人所開的車被路檢，結果在車上發現有毒品，他說不是他的但警察不信，這個案子的開庭日已改到6月15日。


來自洛杉磯的Psychedelic Soul「迷幻靈魂」合唱團 Sly＆The Family Stone是歷年暢銷歌星與合唱團排行榜第214名的知名合唱團，主唱就是Sylvester”Sly Stone”Stewart(3/15/1944出生於德州Dallas)，這是一個黑白混合的R＆B家族合唱團，1970年代中期因Sly Stone吸毒問題纏身，歌唱事業因而一落千丈，非常可惜，他們排行榜上共有三首獲冠軍的歌（Everyday People、Thank You Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin、Family Affair），其中以1968年獲四週冠軍的everyday People名次最好，這首歌在滾石雜誌500大歌曲榜排第145名。
