1968年的今天（6/22）Herb Alpert的This Guys In Love With You在排行榜上開始連續四週獲得冠軍，這是他替自己開的A＆M唱片公司所獲的第一首冠軍曲，也是詞曲搭擋Burt Bacharach and Hal David的第一首排行榜冠軍曲，這首歌在次年（1969）由Dionne Warwick改名This Girl’s In Love With You重唱獲得第7名。
Herb Alpert出生於洛杉磯，是成功的樂隊領隊、小喇叭手、作曲、製作人，最早幫衝浪歌曲二重唱Jan＆Dean擔任製作人，也寫了Sam Cooke的名曲Wonderful World，1962年他和朋友Jerry Moss合開了A＆M唱片公司，1965年並自己組了Herb Alpert＆The Tijuana Brass樂團，他是排行榜記錄裡唯一擁有演唱與演奏曲冠軍的藝人。
